The Research Of Ma Tingluan’s Poems

Ma Tingluan(1222-1289),also known as Ma Xiangzhong,and known as Ma Biwu,was a native of Leping,Raozhou(now it’s a part of Jiangxi Province)during the Song Dynasty.Ma Tingluan is one of the representative writers of "Poetics of Jiangxi" in late Song and early Yuan dynasty.Ma Tingluan was an official for many years and at last he became a prime minister,but later resigned and retired to seclusion.The collection contains 187 all kinds of poems,covering five-word poems,seven-word poems,five-word stanzas,seven-word stanzas,and the five-verse rhyming poems,seven-verse rhyming poems,five-verse long rhyming poems,etc..The collection can be said to be "a combination of all styles",and there are many poetic groups,with rich themes,including the loyal ruler.It covers all aspects of social life,such as nostalgia for the lord,reminiscing about relatives,singing and exchanging songs,and dreaming and chanting.A more systematic study of Ma Tingluan’s poetry,with an in-depth understanding of his intellectual content,emotional purpose and artistic characteristics,reveals the status and literary value of their poetry,which helps to further enrich and enrich the study of the works and the writer,especially the poetry of the late Song relics.It is useful to further investigate the spread and acceptance of the Jiangxi School of Poetry in the late Song and early Yuan dynasty.And it also contributes to the study of Ma Duanlin,Ma Tingluan’s son.It has high academic value and theoretical significance.The paper consisted of the following main parts.The "Introduction" section introduces the current status of Ma Tingluan’s research and the significance of this selected topic,as well as research ideas and methods.The section "Life,Travels and Writings of Ma Tingluan" examines Ma’s family history and life,examining his relationships with Xu Lin,Wu Qian,Jiang Wanli and Ye Mengding,Zhou Mi,Wen Tianxiang,and Wang Yuanliang.It crossed paths and examined their life writings from four sections of the scriptures and historical subseries.In the section "The Ideological and Emotional Purposes of Ma Tingluan’s Poetry",it is pointed out that Ma Tingluan’s poetry is rich in subject matter and wide-ranging in content,including festivals,seasons and sequences.The poem is used to describe the life and work of a person who has died,to give an answer,to sing a song,to the death of a friend or relative,to suffer from livelihood hardships,to travel,and to understand the world.In keeping with the richness and breadth of Ma Tingluan’s poetic themes,his poems are also complex and diverse in their emotional intent,which may be reflected in the loss of his country.The pain,the thoughts of the homeland,or sympathetic to the people’s feelings,feeling the times and the world,or missing family and friends,lamenting the world,but also sentimental poetry,leisure and pleasure.The section "The Artistic Characteristics of Ma Tingluan’s Poetry" discusses Ma Tingluan’spoetry in terms of language,imagery,rhetoric,poetic style,and other aspects of his art.The poem is characterized by the exquisite and elegant language,the unique and apt imagery,rich connotation,rich and diverse rhetoric,and poetic style."An inch of poetry saddens ten thousand dendrobiums",sorrowful and sad.The section "The Status and Research Value of Ma Tingluan’s Poetry" analyzes the inheritance and development of Ma Tingluan’s poetry to the "Poetics of Jiangxi",pointing out its unique value of the research.
