| Chinese online literary circle generally regards 1998 as the beginning of Chinese online literature when Taiwan writer Cai Zhiheng began serializing the romance novel "The First Intimate Contact" on the bulletin board of Taiwan Chengong university.Up to now,Chinese online romance literature has gone through 22 years of development and still maintains a rapid rising trend.At present,the academic circle pays much attention to the phenomenon of "IP fever",and fail to observe the gender discourse changes of online romance novels from the perspective of discourse theory.Starting from sociology and literary theory,this paper will make a systematic overall observation on the increase and decrease of gender discourse in the development history of online romance novels,in order to better understand the development trend of online romance novels,and provide a certain degree of reference value for the creation of online romance novels,and further promote the establishment of female discourse in Chinese female literature.There are three parts in the study.The introduction includes the purpose and significance of the topic,the research status of gender discourse in online romance novels,the research methods and innovations,and the conceptual theory and research scope of this paper.The main body is divided into the following four chapters:The first chapter studies the gender discourses in the early stage of the creation of online romance novels,summarizes the specific performance of gender discourses through the collection of materials and the intensive reading of works,and explores the subjective and objective factors affecting the use of gender discourses in online romance novels.The second chapter discusses the characteristics of typed writing formed in the middle period of network romance novels and discusses the specific expression of gender discourse by subject matter.At the micro level,based on the text,this chapter deeply explores the gender images in the works of different types of themes;At the macro level,the author points out the realistic reasons for the strengthening of the patriarchal discourse in the network romance novels in combination with gender status changes in the country.The third chapter further divides the development stage of online romance novels by the phenomenon that traditional literature forces intervene in the development of online literature on a large scale,and uses specific works to explain the dissolution of patriarchal discourse and the form of resistance of female discourse in this period,so as to explore the progressive nature of online romance novels.The fourth chapter integrates the increase and decrease of gender discourse in the development process of online romance novels,explores the reasons for the long-term dominance of male discourse in online romance novels,and reflects on the distance between online romance novels and female literature.On the basis of affirming its literariness,this chapter summarizes the experience of the creation of online romance novels from the perspective of female writing.The epilogue summarizes the stage changes of gender discourse in online romance novels under the combined influence of social background and literary field.Based on the historical experience of the development of romantic novels,some feasible suggestions are summarized on how to meet the requirements of the new era for female writers. |
