Along with the rapid development of mobile APPlication technology,people’s demand for mobile phones is increasing,and related APPs such as life,work,and learning are emerging.Many learners have begun to use learning APPs to assist their daily learning.The existence of such APPs meets their needs for "fragmented learning".At the same time,the continuous increase in the "Chinese fever" has gradually increased the number of Chinese learners.In order to adapt to the changes of the times,Chinese educators have also developed different types of foreign language learning APPs based on traditional teaching.However,most of the foreign language learning APPs in the mobile phone APPlication market are developed for foreign students or adults,and there are only a handful of APPs for children.Based on this second language acquisition background,the author first described the current popular English and Chinese learning APPs for children on the i OS platform,in order to select suitable typical cases for contrastive analysis.Then the author made a contrastive analysis of "Kids Mandarin" and "JILIGUALA" from the basic situation,interface design,learning content,section settings,etc.,summarized the similarities and differences between the two,drew advantages and disadvantages,and combined the analysis results to provide suggestions for the design of foreign children’s Chinese learning APPs : firstly,strengthen the practicality of children’s Chinese learning APPs;secondly,improve the stage of children’s Chinese learning APPs;thirdly,fully consider the background of cross-cultural communication and respect cultural differences;fourthly,interface design should meet children’s psychology Learning characteristics and aesthetics;fifthly,increase the parental operation area.At last,according to the relevant theories of TCFL,kidology,and APPs’ design and development,the author attempted to explore the design concept of an interesting Chinese language learning APP for foreign children,hoping to contribute to the development of international Chinese education. |
