With the improvement of China’s international status and the unremitting efforts of countless teachers of Chinese as a foreign language, the wave of"Chinese language fever" has gradually swept the world.Because of that, teaching Chinese as a second language including the culture and communicative competence is also facing many new challenges. Therefore, the author chooses the relative appellation which is indispensable in the daily communication of students as the analysis object, constructs the network of relative appellation from the perspective of homologous words, and intuitively displays the commonness and individuality through the semantic map. This article starts with the selection of homologous words related to relative appellations, using Mr.Wang Li’s "Homologous Dictionary" as a blueprint and comparing "New Chinese Proficiency(HSK)Vocabulary(Revised 2012)" to find out the four groups of words related to the appellation are "母","父","叔","伯" and their homologous words. Then make semantic maps of these homologous words, taking the meaning items in the "Chinese Dictionary" and "Modern Chinese Dictionary" as nodes, referring to the word meaning extension in the "Chinese Character Source Dictionary",and drawing the semantic maps of homologous words in the concept space Finally, from the aspects of vocabulary level, textbook repetition rate, etc.,the relative appellations composed of the four groups of homologous words in the "New Chinese Proficiency(HSK)Vocabulary(2012 Revision)" are analyzed. It followed by some suggestions of teaching Chinese relative appellations.
