Research On The Method And Path Of "Broken Shape" In Oil Painting Image Expression

The formation of a painting way or language is the result of artists’ long-term exploration and experience.Through the study of the painting language of image oil painting and the representative artists’ works,this paper explores the formation and development of image painting from various angles,and finds out the important role and possibility of the "broken shape" technique of image painting in the expression of contemporary painting.Image oil painting is a kind of painting language which integrates the spirit of Chinese traditional culture and aesthetic connotation.It is a unique way to grasp the rich meaning of the aesthetic object outside the form by means of imagination,association,intuition and so on.It embodies the local aesthetic characteristics of the aesthetic subject "setting up images to fulfill the meaning" and "unity of heaven and man".Image oil painting is not a kind of painting,but a way of thinking and expression.This paper mainly studies the method and path of "broken shape" in the language expression of image oil painting,and analyzes the exploration of image oil painting from the origin of the development of eastern and Western art.In this context,from the modeling,color,space,as well as texture and other aspects of the elements,this paper elaborates the connotation of "broken shape" in the expression of image oil painting language,and takes the works of three painters,Mykhailo Guida,Yu Xiaofu and Chen Hexi,as examples,analyzes the use of "broken shape" technique,picture effect,and the function and significance of artists’ use of "broken shape" the technique to the artistic creation and expression,try to make the image oil painting language form a more personalized and rich expression in the contemporary oil painting creation.Finally,taking personal creation practice and works as an example,this paper expounds the combination of theory and practice in personal creation,including the source of the theme and the connotation of creation,and shows the extension of the creation process from multiple dimensions of "broken shape",as well as the screen effect brought by the use of image oil painting language "broken shape".Through the research and analysis of the literature,this paper sums up the method of "broken shape" in the image expression of oil painting,and extends,sums up and expands the image oil painting language,in order to find an effective and beneficial way to realize the expression of the contemporary image oil painting language from the theoretical exploration to the case analysis,as well as the creation practice and other dimensions.
