Traces And Broken Expression

As a visual element with temporality,traces indicate the existence of things in the past and record the process of their demise.It is accompanied by the birth and development of painting behavior,the traces in painting have undergone thousands of years of change and development,from the initial meaningless painting residue,slowly become a record of the artist’s creative intention and the display of painting style,become a rebellion against traditional aesthetics,through the exploration and development of artists in different periods of the East and the West,and finally become a visual element with rich aesthetic meaning,presenting a unique visual effect in artistic creation while also conveying the artist’s emotions and thinking.In this paper,the author studies and explores the artistic expression implied by traces as painting language,studies and analyzes the creative practices of different styles and types of artists,compares the differences in their works,artistic language,and creative logic,and looks for the unique aesthetic effects and laws of artistic expression brought about by the expression and use of traces in shelf paintings.Relying on his own creation,based on his own creative practice experience,he uses the language expression of traces to explain the author’s understanding and emotional experience of life-related themes such as reproduction and growth,and integrates it into the creation of the graduation series.In order to find an artistic language that combines traditional painting styles with current art forms,in order to explore the artistic effect that trace elements can produce as a picture language,so as to provide an idea for solving the problem of how to express art in the current increasingly diverse era.
