At present,the application scope of illustration extends from books to CD cover design,poster design,packaging design,advertising design,animation design,web design,film and television and the others commercial fields.This directly form of visual communication was presented to the public,and it been further emphasized in design and practicality.It expresses the subjective thinking factors of the creator and the content,strengthens the appeal of the work,and endows the work with passion and independence.The information to be express in the personal way of the creator.This subject takes "dream" as the main theme,and takes illustration as the main technique of expression.In brief,it is based on the visual interpretation and expression of the dream theme,which make it attractive and visualization.Although our dreams are absurd,the whole content of the dream is actually derived from objective reality,which is the raw material of the dream.First,according to Freud’s dream research,the operation mechanism,characteristics and different types of dreams.Extracted some keywords and explore the theme.Combining the theme content that I wanted to express with the characteristics of the dream,and finally expressed it in a unified and distinct illustration form.
