Hoarding occurs from time to time in life.Although appropriate hoarding sometimes makes life more convenient, excessive hoarding will cause negative effects on life quality and life satisfaction, and even form psychological barriers. Therefore,it is necessary and important to delve into the psychological mechanism of hoarding. It is found that insecure attachment is one of the main causes of hoarding. At present, the research on the relationship between attachment and hoarding has become a hot topic abroad, but just started in China. Moreover, there are some important intermediate factors in the process of insecure attachment leading to hoarding.Anthropomorphic research is at the initial stage in China, and there is no localized measurement tool. This study attempts to revise the anthropomorphic questionnaire that suit for Chinese groups to carry on the localization of anthropomorphic related research to provide measurement tools, and to further explore the relationship among attachment style, anthropomorphic, social support and hoarding, also the mechanism of action of anthropomorphic and social support between the relationship between attachment styles and hoarding, providing theoretical basis for clinical intervention in hoarding. In this study, cluster sampling and other methods were adopted, all using paper questionnaires.910 college students were selected to revise the anthropomorphic questionnaire(AQ),and 1011 college students from 9 universities in Harbin,Changchun,Beijing,Weihai and Wuhan were selected to discuss the relationship between variables and the psychological mechanism of hoarding. The research tools included the intimate relationship experience scale(ECR),the personification scale Chinese revised version, the perceived social support scale(PSSS),the hoarding beliefs questionnaire(SBQ)and the hoarding inventory revised version(SI-R),The empirical study draws the following conclusions:(1)The revised anthropomorphic questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and can be used as a localization measurement tool for anthropomorphic research.(2)There are significant differences in some demographic variables between attachment style, anthropomorphism, perceived social support, hoarding belief and hoarding behavior.(3)Attachment avoidance has a significant positive correlation with anthropomorphic adult-object behavior dimension, perceived social support, and hoarding behavior.Attachment anxiety is positively correlated with anthropomorphism, negatively correlated with perceived social support of friends, positively correlated with hoarding belief, and positively correlated with hoarding behavior.Anthropomorphism is positively correlated with other dimensions of perceived social support and social support, and with hoarding beliefs and hoarding behaviors.Perceived social support is positively correlated with hoarding beliefs, negatively correlated with hoarding behaviors and its accumulation dimension. There is a significant positive correlation between hoarding belief and hoarding behavior.(4)Attachment has significant positive predictive effect on anthropomorphism;Attachment avoidance has significant negative predictive effect on perceived social support.Attachment anxiety has significant positive predictive effect on hoarding belief.Attachment anxiety has significant positive predictive effect on hoarding behavior.Anthropomorphism has significant positive predictive effect on other dimensions of perceived social support.Anthropomorphism has significant positive predictive effect on hoarding beliefs.Anthropomorphism has significant positive predictive effect on hoarding behavior.Perceived social support has significant positive predictive effect on hoarding beliefs.Perceived social support has significant negative predictive effect on hoarding behavior.Hoarding belief has significant positive prediction effect on hoarding behavior.(5)Anthropomorphism plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between attachment anxiety, hoarding belief and hoarding behavior;Perceived social support plays an intermediary role in the relationship between anthropomorphism and hoarding beliefs and a masking effect between anthropomorphism and hoarding behaviors.(6)The relationship among attachment anxiety, anthropomorphism, hoarding belief and hoarding behavior is an mediated model with regulation,in which hoarding belief regulates the latter half of the mediating model of attachment anxiety, anthropomorphism and hoarding behavior.(7)Anthropomorphism and perceived social support play a chain mediating role between attachment anxiety and hoarding beliefs.Perceived social support plays a masking role between attachment anxiety, personification and hoarding behavior. The results show that attachment anxiety can not only directly affect hoarding, but also indirectly affect hoarding through anthropomorphism and perceived social support.
