Analysis On "Historical Copy" In Siku Quanshu Zongmu

As one of the compilation forms of historical books,historical notes were originally because ancient scholars were suffering from numerous historical books.In order to solve the difficulty of reading,scholars cut down the complexity and simplify,summarize and generate new books.Later,with the continuous development of the historical notes,the writing became more and more mature.As a category in the history department,"historical banknotes" first appeared in the song history · art and literature annals written by tuotuo in the yuan dynasty.However,most of the previous works on "historical banknotes" in song shi yi wen zhi were scattered in other small categories in the history department,until "song shi yi wen zhi" set up a single category of "historical banknotes",which gave a place to the works on "historical banknotes".When the general catalogue of the four libraries was compiled,guanchen set up a category of "historical banknotes",and summarized two kinds of writing styles and four kinds of compilation methods of "historical banknotes".In the general catalogue,there are 44 books on "historical banknotes",which are preceded by a small preface.Guanchen also wrote summaries of 44 works.There are also some points worth discussing in these summaries written by guanchen.Among the 44 books of historical notes,only four of them are included in sikuquanshu,which is the standard for guanchen to include them in sikuquanshu.Historical banknotes as a kind of banknotes,its value is not valued,because this kind of banknotes books has not been liked by scholars.In their opinion,the book of notes is not a normal research method,and even contains opportunistic elements,so some people say that "learning by copying is not the right way to read history".But in fact,historical notes not only bring convenience to the reader,but also preserve a large number of valuable documents and other values.
