Research On The Image Of Excellent Teachers In China And Foreign Educational Films

Education is the foundation for a hundred years.Teachers are the foundation of education.If education is the cornerstone of national development,then teachers are the founders of the cornerstone.With the continuous development of social education,the role of teachers is more and more valued by the public.The image of teachers is not only the spokesman of teachers,but also a postcard of national social history and culture.There is no doubt that teachers’ lifelong dream and pursuit is to become a "good teacher" with the image of an excellent teacher.It’s true that it’s easy to be a teacher,but it’s not easy to be a "good teacher" who can give students satisfaction and get happiness at the same time!Based on the current development of the image of teachers and educational films,this paper takes educational films as a starting point,selects 16 films of excellent teachers from 60 Chinese and foreign educational films collected and watched,and uses literature research,content analysis and comparative research methods to analyze the image of excellent teachers.Through the analysis of the image of excellent teachers in educational films,it is concluded that the excellent teachers in the films should have the quality of "Four Haves",that is,showing the ideal and faith,moral sentiment,knowledge and wisdom,and benevolence.Based on the in-depth analysis of the images of excellent teachers in 16 educational films,this paper compares and analyzes the images of excellent teachers in Chinese and foreign educational films,and finds that the similarities are as follows:firm faith,dedication to education;communication,showing students with love;mutual understanding,moistening the mind;individualized teaching,reflection and innovation.The differences are reflected in social culture,living environment,teaching philosophy and popularity.Therefore,in the end of this paper,we deeply reflect on the excellent image of teachers in Chinese and foreign educational films,and find that there are still some problems in the image of teachers:the conflict between moral concepts and their own actions;the collision between educational ideals and job burnout;the gap between school education and family education;the deficiency between film expression and image building.In order to set up a good image of teachers in educational films so as to improve the quality of teachers and the creative development of film and television education,we must pay attention to the cultivation of both internal and external cultivation of teachers in the creation;enhance the effective influence of teachers’ social status in the publicity;effectively reflect the high-quality environment of family school integration in the production;create a real image of teachers returning to human nature.
