| "Language Situation in China" is the earliest book on language life in China,which is edited by the National Language Committee and covers many aspects of our language life.This book reflects the development of China’s language life more comprehensively and objectively in the previous year and records the development trajectory of language life in China in the new era and provides comprehensive and real reference materials for the future research on language life."Language Situation in China" releases the previous year’s new words every year.These new words are the "witness" and "recorder" of the social life of the previous year,which has extremely high linguistic value,and has become the research object of many experts and scholars since it has released.At present,the diachronic and synchronic research on the annual new words in the "Language Situation in China" is mostly concentrated on the year before 2014,and has less research results after 2014.This paper takes 1879 new words in the "Language Situation in China" from 2014 to 2018 as the research object,and the main research methods are date statistics method,analysis and induction,and comparison method.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction part introduces the research object of the thesis firstly;Then,describing the current research status;Finally,the research purpose,significance and method of the paper are introduced.First of all,the first chapter defines the new words of the year.Then,analyzing the distribution of the new words in the year which is mainly from the fields of political life,economic life,cultural and educational life,scientific and technological life,medical life and personal life to analyze.Through the statistics of the number of new words in each field every year,we found a wide range of new words of the year.Finally,pay attention to the causes of occurrence and popularity of new words in the year.It mainly analyzes from the four aspects of social hot spots spawn and promotion,language development,entertaining pursuit in people’s communication and technological dependence of new words popular in the year.The second chapter mainly studies the characteristics of annual new words and the case analysis of "Koi" from the perspective of lexicology.The analysis of the characteristics of new words in the year mainly starts from the five aspects of word formation,syllable characteristics,frequency characteristics,composition characteristics and word meaning characteristics.In terms of word formation,the word formation of the year new words is divided into transliteration,explanation,abbreviation and rhetoric,and to analyze;For the syllable characteristics,frequency characteristics and constituent material characteristics of the new words of the year,this paper uses statistical analysis of data to explain the characteristics,When analyzing the characteristics of syllables,the syllable characteristics of new words in 2014-2018 are as follows: The number of two-syllable words does not occupy the main position,but is mainly three-syllable words and four-syllable words,and the diversified development trend is further strengthened;The investigation of the meaning of the new year words is mainly carried out from seven aspects,which involves a wide range of fields,stronggenerality,distinctive nationality,the feature of distinctive times,the tendency of the surface of the meaning of the words,bright colors and the phenomenon of "past words and new meanings".The study of the case "Koi" mainly starts from three parts: the reasons for the explosion of "Koi" and the development of its meaning,the prevalence of "Koi" and the analysis of "Koi phenomenon",then,through case analysis to enrich the study of the full text.The third chapter analyzes the value of annual new words from the perspective of lexicology firstly,which hopes to enrich the exploration of the value of annual new words from different perspectives.Secondly,analyzing the impact of the new words in the year which is mainly from two aspects of positive and negative effects.And making a detailed explanation on the impact of the two aspects.Finally,pay attention to the standardization of new words in the year.Mainly analyze the reasons why the need for standardization of annual new words,the value of standardization,and attitudes towards the standardization of annual new words and put forward specific measures for the annual new word regulation.The conclusion part summarizes the research results of each chapter of this paper,and points out the shortcomings of this paper. |
