| In this study, the differences of emotion recognition characteristics between autistic children and ordinary children were studied, and the eye movement data of the subjects were recorded. The characteristics of emotion recognition of autistic children and ordinary children were explored through the analysis of eye movement and behavioral data,so as to provide suggestions for the intervention of emotion recognition of autistic children.By random sampling method to select 51 subjects,42 for effectively, including 22 ordinary children, autistic children 20,matching the intelligence level of the two groups of subjects.Choose the mood in the animated cartoon pictures and short video as experiment material, the emotional images can be divided into four class happy/sad/anger and fear, includes only the face and the face plus the body.Dynamic video includes positive and negative situations. This research contains two experiments,The first experiment mainly discussed the effects of somatic information on two kinds of children’s recognition of emotional pictures.Four factors of this experiment is a mixed experimental design:2(subjects types:children with autism and typically developing children,between-subject factor)*4(expression types:happy, sad, angry and afraid,within-subject factor)*2(presentation:facial expression and Face plus body emotion,within-subject factor)*4(interest area categories:interest in body area, interest in facial area, interest in mouth area, interest in eye area,within-subject factor). The dependent variable is the accuracy rate, entry time, first fixation duration, fixation count and fixation time. The second experiment mainly discussed the two types of children’s emotion recognition differences. The experiment was a three-factor mixed experiment design:2(subjects types:children with autism and typically developing children,between-subject factor)*2(implicit expression type:happy and angry,within-subject factor)*4(interest area categories:interest in body area, interest in facial area, interest in mouth area, interest in eye area,within-subject factor). The dependent variable is the accuracy rate, entry time, first fixation duration, fixation count and fixation time. The findings are as follows:(1)The ordinary children have better emotion recognition ability than autistic children, especially in the recognition of happy and anger;(2)Fear is the most difficult emotion to identify, while happy is the easiest to identify, anger and sadness are in the middle position, anger is easier to identify, but in the situation, there was no difference in the recognition of happy emotion and angry emotion;(3)The addition of body information can significantly improve the emotional recognition, especially in the recognition of fear;(4)Both types of children have higher accuracy in emotion recognition under dynamic situations;(5)In the situation, both types of children watched the negative mood for a longer time;(6)There was no significant difference in the number of fixation points and the first entry time in the target interest area of emotional pictures between the two groups of children, but the first and total fixation time of ordinary children were significantly longer than those of autistic children. The conclusions are as follows:(1)Children with autism have defects in emotional recognition ability, but do not show eye avoidance;(2)Emotions in the situation are easier to recognize, and there is a negative emotional processing preference;(3)Somatic information can improve the accuracy of emotion recognition. |
