In recent years,China has developed rapidly.Various enterprises have sprung up,and the demand for talent has increased significantly.At the same time,employment issues have also attracted the attention of the entire society.In this context,the first two chapters of Recruiting,Interviewing,Selecting and Orienting New Employees are selected for this translation practice report.It provides valuable information for corporate recruitment and graduates’ career selection,helps students develop professional skills to meet the needs of society,and achieves a win-win situation for graduates and companies.It has high practical significance and translation value.There are four chapters in the report.The first chapter is task description,in which the translator briefly introduced the source and background knowledge of the text as well as the purpose and significance of the task.The second chapter is process description,which includes determing guiding theory,preparing for translation task and reading parallel texts.And it also covers the specific translation process and quality control.The third chapter is case analysis,which is also the key chapter of this report.The translator combines Newmark’s communicative translation theory with translation practice,and adopts the combination and division to adjust the sentence structure;uses linear translation and reversing to change the internal order of sentence so as to adjust the logical relationship;analyzes the application of conversion in the translation of passive sentence and negative sentence and Impersonal conversion.The translator mainly analyzes the problems encountered in translation from the syntactic level,correctly divides the sentence structure,and sorts out the logical relationships of each sentence,so as to be able to accurately convey the information of the original text and preserve original language style and characteristics.The fourth chapter is summary,in which the translator summarizes the experience and limitations of this translation task.Through this translation practice,the translator made a preliminary exploration of the translation of Human Resource Management texts,and further analyzed the characteristics of informative texts and summarized more suitable translation methods to guide the translation of such texts. |
