The Research Of Religious Belief Fever Influences On Rural Social Governance And Countermeasures

Religious belief is a cultural form that has been formed since ancient times.It is a unique cultural feature of the region and has its real roots and reasons in the existence and development of socialist society in China.China is still in the primary stage of socialism,and there still has contradictions between the growing life needs of the people and the inadequate and unbalanced development.Therefore,it is inevitable that our society has the natural origins,social origins and sources of the religious generation and development.Religious beliefs,religious emotions,and religious rites and religious groups,which are met the needs,will be used as part of the people’s spiritual needs and exist for a long time as social and historical cultural phenomena.However,the phenomenon of religious belief fever in some rural areas of China has affected the stability and development of the countryside to some extent.To explore the fundamental causes of rural religious belief fever and its influences,the article chose Qinrenqiao town of Shucheng county as a case.Through investigation of present situation and characteristics,the article put forward corresponding proposals.Through the investigation and research,the main causes of rural religious belief fever can be summarized as follows.Firstly,rural culture can’t meet farmers’ cultural life needs,which led some farmers regard religion as a way of entertainment;secondly,livelihood security can not meet basic living needs of some poor farmers such as medical treatment,which would lead them to choose religious beliefs as the spiritual pillar and dependence;(3)for government,being short of religious management and guidance could bring about frequent and even chaotic religious activities in some places,which has the negative impact on rural social governance.According to the problems investigated and latent factors for religious belief fever,the article suggested such measures should be taken to reduce the negative impact of the religious belief fever and to play a positive role in promoting social harmony of religion combine with related literature as followed:firstly,the culture of poverty alleviation should be strengthened,which will enrich the farmers’ spiritual and cultural life;secondly,to accelerate rural economic development to improve the farmers’ living standards;thirdly,to strengthen management of religion and rural grass-roots organizations,to guide farmers’ being rational and regulated on religious belief activities,reaching the goal of "by law,by rules,scientific and orderly" for religious management.
