The concept of space is the most basic concept in human life,so spatial expression has become an indispensable part of all language systems. However, due to the influence of cognitive style and cultural background, the spatial expressions of different nationalities are also different. This leads to the misuse of spatial expression in second language acquisition.Among them, the Chinese and Japanese languages use the same Chinese character to represent the spatial noun Zhong and Naka in space. The two characters are not only the same, but also have similar meanings. As a result,Chinese Japanese learners are often used to translate Zhong directly into Naka, instead of auxiliary words,to create unnatural Japanese sentences. Therefore,it is necessary to study the misuse of Japanese spatial noun Naka and related auxiliary words. This paper focuses on the misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words by Chinese Japanese learners, and analyzes the misuse of Naka. The purpose of this study is to enrich the analysis of Chinese Japanese learners’misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words, and to clarify the causes of misuse from a new perspective. This is of great significance to the improvement of Chinese Japanese learners’ learning of Naka and related auxiliary words, and to the enrichment of Japanese spatial expression misuse analysis. The research methods used in this paper include collecting the use cases of Naka and related auxiliary words of Chinese Japanese learners from the corpus;analyzing the misuse of grammar, cognitive linguistics, cognitive pragmatics, second language learning theory and other theories;and conducting a questionnaire survey on the use of Naka and related auxiliary words among Chinese Japanese learners. The conclusion of this paper can be summarized as follows:1.The semantics and usage of Japanese spatial noun Naka are clarified.Specifically, using the classification benchmark of Cao(2016),the semantics of Naka is divided into five parts:spatial meaning, abstract spatial meaning, scope meaning, nature meaning and state meaning, and summarizes various uses of Naka.2.This paper sorts out the misuse examples of Naka and related auxiliary words collected from the corpus, and roughly grasps the actual situation of Chinese Japanese learners’ misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words.3.According to the types of misuse, the collected misuse cases of Naka and related auxiliary words are analyzed one by one,and the causes of misuse are clarified as follows:1)the confusion misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words are mainly due to the following reasons:not clear about the usage and grammatical function of the following auxiliary words and words;the language interference of time and state meanings of Chinese spatial noun Zhong,etc.2)The reasons for the additional misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words are as follows:the influence of mother tongue grammar, violation of the principle of quantity in the coordination principle of cognitive pragmatics,etc.3)The reasons for the omission misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words are as follows:violation of Japanese grammar rules, violation of the principle of quantity in the coordination principle of cognitive pragmatics, and misuse caused by grammatical errors.4)The reasons for the continuous misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words are as follows:the lack of a good command of the continuation method of Naka, and the inability to judge whether to add Naka from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. In addition, this paper also uses the misuse classification in the second language learning, and further sorts out the causes of misuse of each use case, and finds that there are "mistakes","errors","errors between languages","errors within languages","errors in communication","transfer in training",etc. Finally,in order to avoid the misuse of Naka and related auxiliary words by Chinese Japanese learners, combined with the analysis of the causes of misuse and the enlightenment from the questionnaire survey, some countermeasures are put forward.
