Abstract/Summary:
Affected by the fast-paced working style and lifestyle,people began to pay attention to participate in tourism activities that can relieve mental stress and promote positive physical and mental health.Tourists’ choices of types of tourism activities reflect the individual’s self-selection and the reflection of the personality traits of tourists.Personality traits are influenced by individuals to some extent by their own growth background,lifestyle habits,values and other personal factors,so that Individuals give the same feedback characteristics in behavior and emotion.Tourists’ choice of tourist destination is affected by different morphological factors,resulting in differences in their feelings and evaluations of tourist destinations,which in turn affects the degree of attachment to tourist destinations.Generally speaking,when tourists turn their attention to tourism activities during the travel process,they will temporarily generate positive subjective emotional experience,and thus enter the immersive state.This positive emotion will prompt the tourists to attach themselves to the destination.Based on the above viewpoints,this article aims to explore whether the personality traits of tourists will have an impact on the flow experience of the tourism process and the attachment of tourist destinations.In view of this,this study combs and integrates relevant literature on personality traits,flow experiences,and place attachments,and constructs a model of the three interactions,and uses tourists as the research object and Jingyuetan National Scenic Area as a case study.Ground to explore the influence relationship between the three variables.This study distributed questionnaires online and offline,and collected 418 valid questionnaires.SPSS 22.0 statistical analysis software was used to perform demographic analysis,exploratory factor analysis,reliability analysis,correlation analysis,and regression analysis in order to verify Assumption.From the above analysis results,the following conclusions are drawn:the personality traits of tourists have a significant impact on the flow experience,of which the internally controlled personality traits significantly affect the dimensions of the flow experience,and the externally controlled personality traits significantly negatively affect the flow experience;dimensions of tourists’personality traits have a significant impact on place attachment,of which internal control personality traits significantly positively affect place attachment dimensions,external control personality traits significantly negatively affect place attachment dimensions;tourists’ flow experience has a significant positive impact on place attachment,and the dimensions of flow experience have a significant positive impact on place attachment.According to the research conclusion,the following suggestions are made:clarify the personality characteristics of tourists,attract different types of tourists in a targeted manner,and make tourism activities more personalized,humanized,and experience-based;by improving the infrastructure of the tourist attractions to improve the quality of service in the scenic spot,enhance the overall experience level of the scenic spot,and strengthen the immersive experience of tourists;combine the new and old media to carry out tourism promotion of the scenic spot,carry out multi-directional promotion of the scenic spot,promote the promotion of the scenic spot’s popularity,and strengthen the tourist’s understanding of the scenic spot.Further deepen the local attachment of tourists.
