Laos,as a country that shares its needs with China’s mountains and rivers,has alwaysbeen a friendly partner in China’s economy,trade and culture.The increasingly close cooperation between the two countries has rapidly promoted the language learning of the two countries.In 2003,Lao National University established the Chinese Department,which aims to further improve and speed up the Chinese level of higher education in Laos and to train high-level envoys of cultural exchange between China and Laos.So far,the Chinese Department of the National University has been established for 16 years,and has exported a large number of practical talents and elites to China and Laos.Therefore,the topic of this paper is to investigate the situation of Chinese language in the Chinese department of Lao National University as the research object,and to explore the situation of Chinese language teaching and popularization in the highest institutions of higher learning in Laos.Its purpose is to promote students to learn better and teachers to teach better.It also hopes to get more support from schools and promote the Chinese language teaching in Chinese Department to a higher level.The first chapter expounds the research background of this paper and summarizes the current research status according to relevant documents.In general,it explains the purpose and significance of this research.This paper introduces the current situation of Chinese teaching in the Chinese Department of Lao National University,and introduces the main research methods and corpus sources.The second chapter,based on the summary of relevant questionnaire survey results,explains and analyzes the teaching situation of the five major sections,namely,the curriculum setting of Chinese department of Lao National University,teaching materials and teaching resources,the situation of Chinese teachers and the importance attached by the school to Chinese teachers.Have an overall understanding of the current situation of Chinese teaching in Chinese department of national university.The third chapter makes a statistical analysis of the learning situation of Chinese learners in Chinese Department of National University by combining relevant questionnaires.First of all,the basic composition of students and the basic situation of learning Chinese are briefly analyzed,and students’ learning motivation is roughly divided into four main influencing factors,including employment,further study,self-interest and others.Knowing the students’ methods of learning Chinese and then analyzing the factors that affect the learners’ learning motivation.The fourth chapter,based on the analysis of the second and third parts,finds out four basic problems existing in the Chinese department of the national university in terms of curriculum,teachers,students and teaching materials.Based on relevant data and materials,this paper puts forward relevant feasible improvement countermeasures for these four types of problems.The fifth chapter summarizes the basic conclusions of this study,trying to make a thorough investigation and study of Chinese language teaching in Vientiane National University of Laos,hoping to contribute a reference force to the improvement of Chinese language teaching quality and the improvement of Chinese language teaching level in Vientiane National University of Laos. |
