Luo Binji was an important writer of the "Northeast Writers Group"in the 1930s and 1940s.Luo Binji entered the literary arena in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War,his creation has kept pace with the times and is closely linked with the historical process of the country and the nation.His representative works《On the Frontier》《Jiang Buwei’ s Family History》were once household names and became famous overseas.This article focuses on the image of Korea in Luo Binji’s novel creation.through Korean images in novels created by Luo Binji in different periods and inductive analysis of various types of Korean images and from various angles including the author’s life,the then social environment as well as political and cultural factors.Using the research method of imagology of comparative literary,it analyzes the rich linguistic features and complex hierarchical relationships among Korean images in Luo Binji’ s works through internal researches on the text.From the aspect of external researches on the text,influences of the author’ s own experiences on his creations,social collective imagination of the image of North Korea during the Anti-Japanese War period as well as inheritance and developments of Korean image in works of Luo Binji in different periods are analyzed.It further analyzes the writer’ s emotional attitude and creative intentions on Korean image,and deepens enlightenments behind it.This paper,taking the Korean image in Luo Binji’s novels as the main research object,analyzes sums up and summarizes it from five parts.The first chapter introduces the author’s life and creative experience,and experiences the author’s creative motivation and mental process in different periods.The second chapter classifies and summarizes the Korean characters in Luo Binji’s novels,and classifies them into two categories:positive characters and negative characters.It also classifies and explains them in detail,thus grasping the characteristics of Korean characters in the author’s novels.The third chapter studies the Korean images in Luo Binji’ s novels,classifies and sums them up from four aspects:clothing,eating customs,architecture,and the language and vocabulary characteristics about North Korea.In the fourth chapter,using the theory of comparative literature iconology,this paper traces the origin of the Korean image in Luo Binji’s novels,and deeply explore the subjective and objective factors in the formation of Korea’s image in Luo Binji’s works from the collective imagination of Chinese writers in the context of social history and culture as well as the the writer’s personal experience in a specific era.The conclusion part briefly combs the overall thinking of the pap er and summarizes the classification and characteristics of Korean im ages in Luo Binji’s works.Using the research theory of imagology of comparative literary,this paper grasps the research values and signi ficances of Korean images in Luo Binji’s novel creations in the categ ory of imagology. |
