In recent years the study of the quantifier is increasingly affected by the widespread concer n of linguistics. In this paper, the object of study is collective classifier. It’s started from the collecti ve classifier defined which is based on previous studies. Starting point is Chinese collective classif ier, from syntactic, pragmatic and classifiers of Chinese and Korean collection as the center. According to specific usage of Korean and Chinese collection, paper described the type, semantic comparison, composite structure, syntactic elements and pragmatic analysis. There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter is introduction. It clarifies the purpose, meaning, scope and content for research. It also summarizes the status of Chinese and Korean quantifiers and collective classifier which was studied by before. Finally, we show the corpus source of paper. The second chapter discussed the semantic of Chinese and Korean collective classifier by the semantics point. By the comparative analysis, we investigate the similarities and differences about Chinese and Korean collective classifier. It is investigated by two aspects, one is from Chinese character quantifiers and Chinese quantifiers, and another is from inherent quantifiers of collection and Chinese collective classifier. The third chapter discussed the combination of collective classifier and syntactic. This chapter has two sections. First section discusses the features of combination for Chinese and Korean quantifiers. Second section discussed the syntactic composition for Chinese and Korean quantifiers to comparative analysis further. The fourth chapter discussed the using frequency and stylistic distribution.Final chapter is epilogue. It has summary and deficiencies for paper, and explains outlook about fo llow-up.
