Study On Application Of Form Language Based On Installation Art In Landscape Architecture

With continuous improvement of moden people’s aesthetic sense and humanistic requirements in a new era,modern landscape architecture is unable to meet their requirements about landscapes.Diversified forms of art need to be introduced to recreate landscape space images.With a unique form of expression and multiple means to its use,installation art brings diversified artistic enjoyment to people.When it is used in landscape architecture,it can meet people’s need for a space and also enables them to interact with installations through multiple form languages and its multisensory stimulation.This enhances people’s aesthetic experience in response to it in a space and improves the space’s quality of landscape architecture solutons.This paper is about a study that is done about the use of form language of installation art in landscape architecture.It is intended to explore the use of installation art in a landscape space and provide new creative approaches and thoughts about landscape architecture.The contents of the study are described in this paper and are divided into the following three parts.First,the author explains relevant theories of landscape architecture and installation art,and analyzes classification and development of landscape architecture and installation and the points where installation art and landscape architecture can combine together.The author also expounds the reasonability for introducing installation art to landscape architecture.Second,installation art’s form language is analyzed and studied based on such constituent elements as color,material,and shape to hence expound heterogeneous isomorphie,an artistic feature of installation art,and artistic beauty of the general language of installation art.Through studying form language of installation art,the author infers design elements and design principles for using installation art in landseape architecture.In combination with features of various elements of a landscape,the author expounds design methods of installation art.Last,the author studies the achievements made in using installation art in designing landscape spaces through analyzing and studying domestic and foreign cases that reflect a combination of landscape spaces with installation art,including Intermational Horticultural Exhibition Beijing on which the author actually conducted a research.In combination with the natural landscape and settings of the exhibition,the author exploratorily gives installation art design solutions.The author expounds that landscape architecture is made to encompass more forms of art through using new technologies and materials in and adding humanistic concepts and expression of emotions to landscape spaces,and,in this way,landscape installation artworks with features of regional culture are created.Through such research methods as literature review,picture analysis,practical research,and comprehensive research,it is concluded in this paper that there has been a mature use of installation art in urban landscape architecture;however,its use in natural landscape is slow.With development of material and technology,installation art is widely used in landscape architecture,which improves the contents of landscape architecture.Landscape architecture solutions that appease diversified aesthetic senses of modern people’s are created.Use of diversified language of art of installation art in landscape architecture improves features of a artistic characteristics from the perspectives of art,humanism,ecology and fun.Spiritual connotations of the landscape space are also increased.
