The Study On The Cultural Identity Of Multi-ethnic Homology Myth | | Posted on:2020-07-23 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:C C Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2505305957988579 | Subject:folklore | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | As an important type of myth of human origin,the multi-ethnic homologous myth is a myth about different ethnic groups originating from the same place or having the same ancestor.China has numerous homologous myths.Based on the research of collected 110 multi-ethnic homologous myths,this paper applies relevant theories of Chinese national community consciousness and statistical analysis method to explore the multi-ethnic homologous myths’ positive role in constructing Chinese national community consciousness.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The content of the introduction has four parts: causes of the subject and research meaning;research methods and innovation point;research review;the definition of the relevant concept.The main body is divided into four chapters,each of which is as follows:The first chapter discusses the geographical distribution of multi-ethnic homologous myth.This chapter involves the division of ethnic regions.The 55 ethnic minorities in China are divided into four regions,namely the northwest regions,the southwest regions,the southeast regions and the northeast and Inner Mongolia regions.This paper analyzes the distribution of mythological texts in different regions and explores the characteristics of their distribution.The second chapter discusses the type of multi-ethnic homologous myth.It discusses respectively from two aspects: the ancestor myth of Han nationality and homologous myth of minority nationalities.Combining the Study on the Form of Chinese Creation Myth by Professor Xiang Baisong and Study on the Myth of the Origin of Chinese Ethnic Minorities by researcher Wang Xianzhao,this chapters divides minority homologous myth into five categories: plant giving birth to man type,mating type,making man type,germination growth type and complex type.Through using various examples,this chapter analyzes its characteristic and explore its inner meaning.The third chapter discusses the reason of the multi-ethnic homologous myth’s formation.The emergence of the phenomenon of multi-ethnic homology and common ancestor in myth has cause-and-effect relationship.The examination of this cause-and-effect relationship is beneficial to the analysis and presentation of the multi-ethnic homologous myth’s connotation.From the perspectives of ethnic integration,migration,differentiation and geographical relations,this paper discusses the influence of ethnic factors on the formation of homologous myth motifs.In addition,it is also the result of the national consciousness’ s choice and the artificial product combining with objective reality created by later generations.The fourth chapter discusses the social functional meaning of the multi-ethnic homologous myth.Through the previous discussion on the multi-ethnic homologous myth,it proves that the Chinese nation is a pluralistic community of common destiny,and the homologous myth is the concentrated embodiment of the Chinese national spirit.It not only inherits the harmonious and friendly ethnic relations of the Chinese nation,but also reflects the common ideal of the multi-cultural unity of all ethnic groups.This paper discusses from three aspects: multi-ethnic homologous myth strengthens national identity,constructs harmonious and friendly national relations and its contemporary educational value.The research of multi-ethnic homologous myth can help us better pursue the source of the Chinese national spirit from different perspectives.The spiritual traits created and founded by myths provide great spiritual strength for the social and cultural life of human beings.They have also subtly influenced the people’s cultural thinking mode for thousands of years,and played a driving role in promoting the Chinese national spirit and enhancing the sense of Chinese national community. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | multi-ethnic, homologous myth, type, social functional, Cultural identity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
