Reflection On The Creation Of The Modern Lacquer Paint Image Of Han Chinese Clothing

The paper serves as a detailed explanation for my design and dissection of my graduation work,a lacquer painting called Image of Han Chinese Clothing.The theme of this creation is chosen for its rich aesthetic values and ethos in traditional culture.The lacquer painting as a modern artistic language is used as the manner of expression for Han Chinese clothing and the elements in Han Chinese clothing are extracted,sublimated and innovated.At the same time when it displays the essence of traditional culture of Han Chinese clothing,the work makes it show the modern characteristics and aesthetic implication unique to this era.It is an attempt to combine the artistic language of lacquer painting with the aesthetic meaning of Han Chinese clothing,to realize the connection and unity of artistic expression and spiritual connotation from the integration the modern lacquer painting art and traditional culture.Chapter One firstly explores the composition,shape and pattern of the modern lacquer painting,and then summarizes how these elements conspire to convey and carry aesthetic values in perfect harmony in the works and it also explains the application and performance of such elements in the creation of Image of Han Chinese Clothing.Chapter Two elaborates on the color expression in lacquer painting.Extensive analyses focus on the color and quality and how colors are used in material and how they carry emotions in Image of Han Chinese Clothing.It offers a summary of the color interest of lacquer and the expression of the colorful language in modern lacquer painting.Chapter Three probes into the aesthetic values hidden in Image of Han Chinese Clothing.The concept of traditional artistic conception aesthetics is used to explain how to use technique and blend in feelings to create aesthetic beauty in the creation of lacquer painting and to that only by achieving the mutual unification of painting emotion and meaning and the mutual interweaving of emotion and technique can an attractive artistic style be created.
