Since emoticons have developed so far,emoticons can be divided into a variety of types from the content to form.Different types of emoticons,including resemblance of character,text faces with detailed description,classical Emoji etc.,their selection and use all have different motivations,such as easing,stressing,booing,entertainment and so on.In network emoticons,Emoji has a natural advantage.They can appear in various contexts from different origins.Cartoon images focus on promoting the brand in mass consumption society.Also emoticon is fulled of flooded with vulgar,rustic,and other nonsense.Entertainment,games have become mainstream,All the restraint,orthodox,the rules are largely gone,what left are equality and freedom,resistance and wanton wild entertainment without meaning.In this paper,a single emoticon will be studied as a text to express the characteristics of the content and the cultural significance.At the same time,the emoticons will be placed in a specific context to discover the different meanings of emoticons in different contexts.
