The Male Characters Of Stefan Zweig’s Novels

Stefan Zweig,Chekhov of Russia,and Francois Mauriac of France are called the three best known European novelists.The shaping of the characters in Stefan Zweig’s works comes from the author’s character and his life experiences,which show his reflection on the society and humanity perfectly In his works,not only are the well-praised female images the major factor,but the male images are also indispensable.This paper,choosing Stefan Zweig’s novels as the research object from the point of male characters,tries to probe into the origin of these male images’ formation from the perspective of types,characteristics,background and the writer’s own factors.
