In recent years,with the development of the medical industry,the popularity of 5G technology and the impact of the global COVID-19 epidemic,the Internet medical industry has attracted more attention and achieved rapid development.Although the overall development trend of the Internet medical industry is good,many Chinese Internet medical enterprises are faced with the problem of long-term losses.The profit model plays an important role.Now,the appropriate profit model of China’s Internet medical industry is still being explored.If an Internet medical enterprise wants to continue its sustainable development,it should conduct an in-depth study on whether its profit model is in line with its development and how to further optimize its profit model,so as to improve its profitability.As a leading enterprise in China’s Internet medical industry,JD Health took the lead in making profits.In 2020,JD Health achieved an adjusted net profit of 750 million yuan,up117.7% year on year,and this adjusted net profit level also maintained the leading position in the industry.In Addition,JD Health was successfully listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2020,and its market value exceeded HK $330 billion on the first day of listing,making it the highest Internet medical enterprise in China by market value.JD Health can maintain a leading position in the industry,and its profit model also plays a corresponding role.Therefore,it is of certain value to study the profit model of JD Health.Based on the profit model theory,value chain theory and core competitiveness theory,this thesis firstly analyzes the profit model of JD Health,then evaluates and analyzes its financial effect based on the profit model of JD Health,and finally summarizes the analysis results and gives corresponding suggestions.This thesis adopts the method of literature analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis to select the industry representative JD Health as the research object.First of all,the Internet medical industry is analyzed from four aspects: industry overview,factors affecting industry development,industry user scale and industry profit model.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the basic situation of JD Health and its profit model.Then,on the basis of JD healthy profit model,this thesis analyzes the impact of profit model on enterprise finance from the three aspects of revenue,cost and profit.Finally,the profit model of the company is evaluated and analyzed,and relevant optimization suggestions are put forward.The findings of this study:（1）Income.Due to its advantages in profit object,profit source and business type,JD Health has a strong competitiveness in terms of income level and quality.However,in terms of income structure,JD Health has the problem of imbalance due to the excessively single profit point.（2）Cost.JD Health mainly uses its advantage of supply chain in profit barrier and integrates resources to form scale effect,so as to improve its own voice,effectively reduce procurement costs and period expenses,and form its cost advantage.（3）Profitability.JD Health’s gross profit margin and adjusted net interest rate are competitive in the industry to a certain extent,and JD Health does not have the risk of capital security,and its profitability is characterized by stability and sustainability.（4）JD health’s profit model has the advantages of large platform user base,strong competitiveness in profit barrier and“medical treatment + purchase of medicine” closed-loop service.（5）The stickiness of JD Health users is low,and there are situations where the profit point is too single,over-reliance on JD Group and low capital utilization.
