Abstract/Summary:
[Objective] To investigate the application value of a pressure-measuring and stone-extracting ureteral access sheath (UAS) used together with negative pressure suction system during flexible ureteroscopy in the treatment of renal stones.[Methods] A retrospective analysis from November 2014 to September 2015 i n the Kunming General Hospital of Chengdu Military Command Department of Urology for flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy (FURS) for the tr eatment of renal stones in 98 cases and divided into A, B two groups. The ne wureteral access sheath was used in group A combined with vacuum suction d uring lithotripsy.B group of patients in the intraoperative used of simple mano metry type ureteral access sheath. The infusion pump flow rate of 0.2 L/min was set in the operation, the perfusion pressure limit was set to 100 mmHg, S uction pressure of group A was 10kPa(75mmHg).Perfusion flow rate and press ure was adjusted in a timely manner was based on the clear vision and interna 1 pressure force on the renal. To record and comparative analysisthe internal pr essure andvariation trendof renal and perfusion time of two groups.[Results] Two groups of patients with gender, age composition without statistical differences, were successfully completed surgery.Therenal pressuresin group A were adjusted duly and theywere lower than the B group’sin whole process ofoperation. The averagerenal pressure ingroup A was 10.88±5.911mmHg.The averagerenal pressure ingroup B was 20.10±7.68mmHg, the pressure control was difficult andunsteadily.[Conclusion] Using of the new type of ureteral access sheath (UAS) in the flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy (FURS)make the renal pressure in surgery controllable and it is safe for the FURS.
