Objective:To understand the status quo of stigma, family care, and readiness for hospital discharge in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy; To analyze the correlation between stigma, family care and discharge readiness in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy; To explore the influencing factors of stigma in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy; To explore the mediating effect of hospital discharge readiness between stigma and family care in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy,To provide a theoretical basis for reducing stigma in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy. Methods:This study adopted a cross-sectional questionnaire survey method. From May to August 2021,convenience sampling was used to select young and middle-aged patients after hysterectomy in the gynecological ward of a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province for a questionnaire survey. The contents of the survey included general information,Social Influence Scale(stigma),Family APGAR Index, and Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale.SPSS 25.0 software was used to analyze the data, the mean±standard deviation(x±s)or M(P25,P75)were used for statistical description, and t test or univariate analysis, pearson or spearman correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression were used for statistical inference.Path analysis was performed using AMOS 22.0 software, with stigma as the dependent variable, family care as the independent variable, and hospital discharge readiness as the mediating variable, and the Bootstrap sampling method was used to test the mediating effect.Results:(1)The score of stigma, family care, and discharge readiness of patients undergoing hysterectomy were(51.58±10.47),8.00(6.00,10.00),and(87.16±20.98)respectively.(2)The results of correlation analysis displayed that the stigma of young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy was negatively correlated with family care(r=-0.563,P<0.05);family care was positively correlated with discharge readiness(r=0.631,P<0.05);stigma was negatively correlated with discharge readiness(r=-0.638,P<0.05).(3)Differences in stigma scores across general demographic data showed that there were differences in the stigma scores of young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy in terms of payment method, occupation, per capita monthly income, disease diagnosis, and disease course(P<0.05).(4)The results of multiple linear regression showed that the score of discharge readiness, the score of family care, and the payment method entered the regression model, the model R~2=0.485,adjusted R~2=0.455.(5)The results of the mediation effect analysis revealed that hospital discharge readiness played a part in the influence of family care on stigma in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy, and the mediation effect accounted for 56.60%of the effect.Conclusion:(1)The stigma and discharge readiness of young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy are at a medium level, and the degree of family care is high.(2)Family care, discharge readiness and stigma are correlated, different payment methods, family care index and discharge readiness are the influencing factors of stigma in young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy, suggesting that clinical medical staff should implement individual measures according to the actual situation of patients.(3)Family care and stigma play a part mediating role in the discharge readiness of young and middle-aged patients with hysterectomy.
