Objective:With the gradual growth of the aging population in my country, hypertension in the elderly is also on the rise.As a type of chronic disease that is extremely harmful to the health of the community, how to ensure the quality of life of hypertensive patients over 60 years of age and health has been the focus of the national medical and health system. This study explored the prevalence, treatment, awareness, control and related influencing factors of hypertension in villagers over 60 years old in Xinzhan Town,Jiaohe City,Jilin Province,Aiming to improve the guidance for the targeted development of health promotion and education and the formulation of related prevention and treatment strategies in the future. Methods:According to the geographical location, population distribution and economic development level of Jilin Province,Xinzhan Town,Jiaohe City was selected as the epidemiological survey site for the original villagers over 60 years old in the town.In this study,a total of 946 villagers over 60 years of age were selected to participate in the epidemiological investigation and study,and32 invalid cases were removed.Among them,914(427 males and 486 females)completed the study.31 administrative villages and 1 community were sampled. The selected villagers were Baoan Village,Dali Village,Vegetable Village,Wenhua Village, and Xinzhan Village. They were all permanent residents and villagers over 60 years of age were sampled.During the sampling survey,a standard mercury sphygmomanometer was used to measure blood pressure.During the measurement, the subjects rested for 5 minutes and then measured the blood pressure of the right upper arm artery in a sitting position.During the operation, the heart and elbows should be kept on the same plane as much as possible. The interval between each measurement is 5 minutes,a total of 3measurements,and the average value of the measurement is the blood pressure measurement value. And do a detailed physical examination(heart rate, hip circumference, waist circumference, weight, height)and a standard questionnaire for the selected subjects. The venous blood of the survey subjects was also taken for biochemical tests. The items included lipid examination and75 g glucose tolerance test(OGTT).All survey subjects need to sign an informed consent form. The obtained data was audited and entered with Epidata software, and SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data. Results:A total of 574 hypertensive patients(hypertension group)were found in this study, with a prevalence rate of 62.80%(574/914),of which the prevalence of hypertension in men was 61.59%(249/427)and the prevalence of hypertension in women was 63.87 %(325/487).The prevalence of hypertension in males(62.53%)was slightly lower than that in females(63.04%),and the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=0.277,P>0.05).Dividing the population into groups according to age,the prevalence of hypertension in people aged 70 and above(68.68%)is higher than that in the population aged 60-69(58.91%).There is a statistical difference in the prevalence of hypertension between the two groups.Academic significance(χ2=8.890,P=0.003).The prevalence of hypertension in the population with different educational levels was different. The prevalence of hypertension in the population of junior high school and below(64.68%)was significantly higher than that of the population above junior high school(50.81%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=9.687,P= 0.002).The prevalence of hypertension in the divorced, widowed and unmarried population(65.19%)was slightly higher than that in the married population(62.30%),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(χ2=0.467,P=0.495).Obesity and overweight(BMI≥24.0kg/m2)had a higher prevalence of hypertension(66.05%)than the normal population(BMI between 18.5-23.9kg/m2)(54.89%),there was a statistical difference between the two groups Academic significance(χ2=10.058,P=0.002).The prevalence of hypertension in the drinking population(68.91%)was higher than that in the non-drinking population(58.33%)(χ2=9.795,P=0.002).The prevalence of hypertension in smokers(65.03%)was higher than that in non-smokers(55.26%),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=9.591,P=0.002).The prevalence of hypertension in people with salty tastes(67.63 %)was higher than the group with mild and moderate taste(57.34%),the prevalence of hypertension in the two groups was compared, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=10.310,P=0.001).The prevalence of hypertension in the population(69.16%)was significantly higher than that in the population without family history(58.73%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=10.020,P=0.002).The prevalence of hypertension in the dyslipidemia group(66.78%)was higher than that of the normal blood lipid group(56.32%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=10.098,P=0.001).After multivariate stepwise logistic regression analysis, hypertension was used as the dependent variable, and all the risk factors related to hypertension were considered as risk factors. The independent variables were adjusted to the data to exclude other confounding factors affecting hypertension.Age,education level, body mass index, alcohol consumption, smoking, salt intake, waist circumference, family history, and blood lipids were independent risk factors for hypertension. Conclusion:The occurrence of hypertension among residents in Xinzhan Town,Jiaohe City,Jilin Province is affected by many factors. At present, urbanization is accelerating and the living standards of rural residents have been greatly improved.Coupled with the increasing number of elderly people, the prevention and treatment of local residents is high. The work of blood pressure poses serious challenges. Therefore,it is necessary to improve the professional ability of township health personnel, actively carry out health promotion and education on the prevention and treatment of hypertension, encourage residents to strengthen exercise, reasonable diet, and establish a complete set of residents’ health files.Early detection and early treatment can improve the treatment rate of hypertension among residents. It is also possible to learn from domestic and foreign prevention and treatment strategies for hypertension, and to combine local unique epidemiological characteristics to formulate a reasonable prevention and treatment strategy for hypertension among township residents, thereby reducing the age of 69 years. The prevalence of hypertension among the above residents.
