Objective:By comparing the operation time, postoperative treatment effect, postoperative complications and postoperative hospital stay of cerebellar vermis and cerebellar medulla cleft approach,we can provide a basis for the selection of appropriate treatment plan in the future clinical work. Methods:Collected in January 2019 to December 2021 in the first hospital of jilin university nerve tumor surgery in the treatment of the fourth ventricle tumor in patients with the clinical data of 54 cases, analysis the cerebellum medulla oblongata to crack into the road and cerebellar vermis into the road of two different surgical treatment of fourth ventricle tumor in patients with operation time, postoperative treatment, postoperative complications, such as data,SPSS was used for statistical analysis to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the two different surgical methods. Results:After controlling for sociodemographic factors, the cerebellar medulla fissure approach was significantly associated with good treatment outcome as defined by the KPS score(Table 2,model 1).This correlation remains significant in the multivariable adjustment model(Table 2,Model 2).The cerebellar medulla fissure approach was shown to have a better prognosis than the subcerebellar vermis approach. After controlling for sociodemographic factors, the cerebellar medulla splitting approach was significantly associated with good treatment outcomes as defined by complication severity(Table 3,model 1).This correlation remains significant in the multivariable adjustment model(Table 3,Model 2).It can be seen that the cerebellar medulla fissure approach is still superior to the subcerebellar vermis approach when evaluating the postoperative treatment results by the severity of complications. Conclusion:The operation time, postoperative therapeutic effect, postoperative complications and hospital stay of cerebellar vermis fissure approach for the treatment of fourth ventricle tumors are better than that of cerebellar vermis approach.
