Objective:To study the expression of fetuin A(Fetuin A,FetA)in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,NAFLD)and analyze its related factors. Methods: A total of 178 patients(86 males and 92 females)who underwent 14C-urea breath test and abdominal ultrasound examination in the health examination center of our hospital from January 2020 to June2020 were divided into NAFLD group and non-NAFLD group according to the results of abdominal ultrasound examination.Collection of two sets of general information(gender, age, height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, blood pressure),hematological indexes(White Blood Cells(WBC),Alanine aminotransferase(ALT),Serum Creatinine(SCr),Total Cholesterol(TC),Triglyceride(TG),Low Density Lipoprotein(LDL),High-density Lipoprotein(HDL),Fasting plasma glucose(FPG),Fasting insulin(FINS)and Hp infection, according to the steady-state model evaluation method to calculate indexes of insulin resistance(HOMA IR),and the serum of each object was collected and FetA was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(Elisa). The relationship between various indicators between the NAFLD group and the non-NAFLD group was compared and analyzed.Independent sample t-test and chi-square test were used to compare the differences of various indexes between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between serum FetAn and meaningful indexes.Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the risk factors of NAFLD.Results:1.The Hp infection rate in NAFLD group was 54.88%,which was significantly higher than that in non-NAFLD group(34.38%).The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in gender, age, smoking status, height, weight,BMI,hip circumference,TC,WBC,SCr between NAFLD group and non-NAFLD group(P > 0.05).Waist circumference,TG,LDL,FPG,FINS,HOMA-IR and FetA in NAFLD group were significantly higher than those in the non-NAFLD group, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),HDL and ALT in NAFLD group were significantly lower than those in the non-NAFLD group(P < 0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum FetA was positively correlated with waist circumference,TG,LDL and HOMA-IR(correlation coefficients were 0.192,0.275,0.481,0.481,P < 0.01),negatively correlated with HDL(correlation coefficient was-0.421,P <0.001),and had no significant correlation with ALT(P > 0.05).4.Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that TG,HOMA-IR and FetA were positively correlated with NAFLD(OR = 16.140,60.676,1.052,P < 0.05),HDL was negatively correlated with NAFLD(OR =0.036,P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.FetA was highly expressed in patients with NAFLD.2.FetA is an independent risk factor for NAFLD under the condition that TG,HOMA-IR and HDL are kept unchanged.3.HP infection is not an independent risk factor for NAFLD.
