| OBJECTIVE: To explore the intervention effects of traditional Chi nese medicine(TCM)on the clinical symptoms and signs of patients wi th peritoneal dialysis(PD),serum parathyroid hormone(PTH),phospho rus(P),calcium(Ca),quality of life and other related indexes;The formation mechanism of abnormal metabolism of serum parathyroid hormo ne and calcium and phosphorus in PD patients was analyzed based on th e theory of fire phase and fire phase.METHODS: A total of 62 patients with maintenance peritoneal dialy sis were enrolled in the outpatient and inpatient department of nephr ology of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to January 2021.According to the random number table method,the patients meeting the requirements wer e divided into control group(n = 31)and treatment group(n = 31).Th e control group was given regular peritoneal dialysis treatment and g eneral symptomatic treatment,and the treatment group was additionall y given Fushen Qiufengzhuo Decoction,a traditional Chinese medicine preparation,in addition to the basic treatment of the reference cont rol group.Specific method of taking: one dose a day,decocted in wate r twice,150 ml juice for each time,and taken warm twice in the morni ng and evening.One course of treatment was performed for 4 weeks,and2 courses of treatment were observed for 8 weeks.The changes of TCM s ymptom score,quality of life score,urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creat inine(SCR),serum calcium,serum phosphorus,serum whole parathyroid hormone(IPTH)and other related reference indexes in 2 groups were o bserved before and after treatment.Results:1.In clinical research in peritoneal dialysis patients 62 cases,including 31 cases of control group and treatment group,while no los s,excluding cases,the treatment group and control group in dialysis patients’ age,gender,age,primary disease and TCM symptom integral treatment,kidney function test index,calcium phosphorus metabolism related index and quality of life score,etc.,There was no significa nt difference between the two groups(P BBB 0 0.05).2.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment gro up was 77.42%,and the total effective rate of the control group was67.74%,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The results showed that the overall efficacy of the treatme nt group was higher than the control group.3.Comparison of TCM symptom scores and efficacy: in terms of imp roving symptoms,both the treatment group and the control group could reduce TCM symptom scores(P<0.05),but in terms of improving TCM syn drome total scores,the treatment group was better than the control g roup(P<0.05).4.After treatment,the metabolic indexes of calcium and phosphor us,such as serum phosphorus(P)and whole parathyroid hormone(IPTH)levels in 2 groups were significantly decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),while the serum calcium level was significantly i ncreased(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the effect of tre atment group was more significant(P<0.05).5.The total score of KDTA and SF-36 in the control group and the treatment group were significantly increased after treatment compare d with before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Based on the theory of Jun Huo phase Huo,Fushen Xiu Fengzhuo Decoction for maintenance peritoneal dialysis patients can regulate s erum PTH and abnormal calcium and phosphorus metabolism in CAPD patie nts.2.Interventional use of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with maintenance peritoneal dialysis based on the theory of Jun Huo and Phase Huo can significantly improve the related clinical symptoms of CAPD patients.3.Fushen Qiefing Weathering Turbidity Decoction can improve the quality of life of patients to a certain extent,and reduce the incid ence of related complications.4.During the observation period,the treatment methods of the con trol group and the treatment group were safe and reliable in clinical application,and no obvious adverse reactions occurred. |
