Purpose:By exploring the clinical manifestations and symptoms and signs before and after treatment of children with tic disorder by the visceral acupuncture point method, the TCM Syndrome Integral Scale, the Yale Tic Syndrome Overall Severity(YGTSS)Scoring Scale, the Tourette Syndrome Scale(TSGS),and the Tourette Syndrome Quality of Life Scale(GTS-QOL),the effect of the treatment of tic disorders was understood, which provided a useful reference for the promotion and application of the method in the future.Methods:1.Medical Records: In this study,70 children with tic disorder were diagnosed with tic disorder from January 2021 to December 2021 in the pediatric outpatient clinic of Xiangyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The randomized controlled studies were divided into 34 experimental groups and 36 controlled groups.By comparing the general data of the two groups of children, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which showed that the two groups were comparable.2.Treatment: The control group was given an external clonidine transdermal patch. The child is given a topical patch of 1 mg per week, which is placed under one side of the back shoulder blade, and the contralateral patch is switched to a new patch after 7 days. The treatment group was given organ acupuncture therapy.Operate once a day, push for 5 days, take a break for 9 days and then go on for 5 days, and rest for 9 days.Treatment courses were all 28 days, with efficacy and safety assessments at the end of 28 days and follow-up at 2 months after the end of the study.Parents are advised not to remind the child of relevant symptoms, not to reprimand the child,to relax their mentality, and to create a relaxed family atmosphere and learning environment.Shelter from wind and cold, prevent external sensation, moderate exercise, work and rest regularly.3.Outcome measures:(1)efficacy evaluation:TCM Syndrome Integral Scale,Yale Tic Syndrome Overall Severity(YGTSS)Scoring Scale,Tourette’s Syndrome Scale(TSGS),Tourette’s Syndrome Quality of Life Scale(GTS-QOL);(2)Because clonidine transdermal patch is an external treatment method,it is a commonly used clinical method because of its reliable therapeutic effect and safety, and traditional Chinese medicine massage has no effect on routine blood, urine, feces, liver and kidney functions,so this study is safe and reliable. It was difficult for the patient to draw blood, and the patient himself and his family members did not cooperate,so only other adverse reactions such as rash, lethargy and other extrapyramidal reactions occurred in the study were evaluated.4.Statistical processing: The data is processed by spss25.0statistical software, and is carried out according to different statistical requirements: the measurement data is described statistically using mean ± standard deviation, the measurement data is first analyzed by advanced normality analysis and variance homogeneity analysis,if it is normally distributed, the in-group comparison is matched t-test,and if it is not normally distributed,non-parametric test is used.Chi-square tests were used for interand intra-group comparisons of counting data, and rank-sum tests were used for inter-group comparisons of graded data. All statistical results are judged based on P-values: P<0.05,which is statistically significant for the difference, determined as the significant difference level, and P>0.05 is not statistically significant.Results:1 According to statistical analysis and comparison: there were no significant differences in age, gender, course of disease and YGTSS scores between the two groups(P> 0.05).(2)After treatment under the above scheme, the TCM syndrome score,YGTSS score,TSGS score and GTS-QOL score of the treatment group were significantly reduced, but compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)Evaluation of treatment efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.24%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 80.56%,indicating no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).(4)There were no major adverse events in the two groups before and after treatment, indicating that this study has certain safety. Conclusion:The treatment of tic disorders in children by visceral acupuncture can significantly improve clinical symptoms, which is better than that of external clonidine transdermal patches, and can also avoid the side effects caused by external clonidine transdermal patches, with high safety and no adverse phenomena in the entire research process,so it is worth clinical promotion and application.
