The Study Of Clinical Observation On Medicinal Thread Moxibustion Of Zhuang Medicine In Treating Chronic Urticarial

ObjectiveBy observing medicinal thread moxibustion of Zhuang Medicine in treating chronic urticaria,and evaluate the treatment’s effect on chronic urticaria disease and the quality of life to explore more effective methods to treat chronic urticaria.MethodsDuring February 7.2017 to December 23.2017,60 cases with chronic urticaria were collected at the department of Dermatological and Acupuncture Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guang Zhou University of TCM.We divided these cases into two groups follow 1:1 ratio randomly--thirty for medicinal thread moxibustion group and thirty for acupuncture group.These patients were carried on the basic treatment of health guidance,psychological counseling and antihistamine loratadine.The treatment group（medicinal thread moxibustion group）:put special acupoint of Zhuang Medicine-Zhangzi and Meihua and traditional acupoints-Quchi,Hegu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Xuehai and Baichongwo as the main points.Wind and heat offense table adds Dazhui,Waiguan point;wind cold beam table adds Fengchi,Feishu points;blood deficiency and wind-dry adds Geshu,Pishu points;Gastrointestinal heat adds Neiguan,Zhigou points.Three treatments every week（every Monday、Wednesday and Friday）,6 times for a course of treatment,and we do two courses of treatment.The control group（acupuncture group）:we gave the acupuncture to the same points and frequency of treatment as the medicinal thread moxibustion group.And then observe two courses of treatment.Two groups of patients are conducted the evaluation of scores of UAS and Chronic Urticaria Quality of Life Questionnaire（CU-Q₂oL）before treatment,After 2 weeks of treatment and4 weeks of treatment respectively.All clinical research data were processed by SPSS24.0 statistical software.Results1.Before treatment,through statistic analysis of the treatment group and the control groups,the difference between the basic data（gender,age,course of disease,UAS score,CU-Q₂oL score）are not statistically significant（P>0.05）,that means the baseline data of two groups’patients is comparable.2.After two weeks of treatment,the statistical analysis showed that the scores of UAS and CU-Q2oL in both groups were lower than before treatment significantly（P<0.05）.It indicates both medicinal thread moxibustion and acupuncture could improve degree of chronic urticaria disease and the quality of life.And through the comparison between groups,there were no significant differences in UAS and CU-Q2oL scores between the two groups（P>0.05）.It indicates that there were no significant difference between the two treatment methods on the improve of the condition and quality of life of chronic urticaria.in short-term.3.After four weeks of treatment,the statistical analysis showed that the scores of UAS and CU-Q2oL in both groups had a significant decrease compared with before treatment（P<0.05）.It indicates both medicinal thread moxibustion and acupuncture could improve degree of chronic urticaria disease and the quality of life.And through the comparison between groups,there had a significant differences in UAS and CU-Q2oL scores between the two groups（P<0.05）.It indicates that the improvement of UAS score and CU-Q2oL score in treatment group was more obvious,that is,medicinal thread moxibustion of Zhuang Medicine had a better curative effect on the condition and quality of life of chronic urticaria.4.The evaluation of clinical efficacy:the total effective rate of medicine moxibustion treatment group was 90.00%,of which 1 was cured,8 markedly effective,18 effective and 3 ineffective.And the total effective rate of Acupuncture control group was 76.66%,of which 0 was cured,2 markedly effective,21 effective and 7 ineffective.By rank sum test,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant（p<0.05）,and the treatment group（total effective rate 90.00%）was superior to the control group（total effective rate 76.66%）.It can be argued that medicinal thread moxibustion of Zhuang Medicine had a better curative effect on the condition and quality of life of chronic urticaria.ConclusionBoth medicinal thread moxibustion groups and acupuncture group have clinical effect on treating chronic urticaria.And the total clinical effect of the treatment group is better than the control group.Moreover,in improving the degree of chronic urticaria disease and the quality of life,the treatment group has advantage.Therefore,the medicinal thread moxibustion of Zhuang Medicine treatment of chronic urticaria curative effect is exact,for clinicians reference application.
