Analysis On Li Yi Rui’s Prescription Strategy For Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Based On The Data Mining

ObjectiveBy using the software of traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)inheritance Assistant system,the data mining of professor Li Yirui’s cases of treating ADHD were carried out,and the rule of drug use in treating ADHD was discussed,which provided a reference for learning and inheriting Professor Li Yirui’s academic thought.MethodsCollecting the medical records of Professor Li Yirui’s outpatient treatment of children with ADHD,strictly according to the diagnostic criteria for ADHD and according to the exclusion criteria.Establishment of a database of 100 medical records that met the inclusion criteria,then input these cases in TCM Inheritance System(V2.5),and analysied by means of rule analysis,improved mutual information,complex system entropy cluster and unsupervised hierarchical clustering entropy.ResultsA total of 100 prescriptions of 94 drugs and 87 symptoms / tongue pulse were analyzed.The top 6 drugs with the highest intermediate frequency were acorus gramineus soland,polygala root,poria cocos,fossil fragments,radix pseudostellariae and bighead atractylodes rhizome.The correlation was 8 and the penalty was 2.By using the hierarchical cluster analysis of entropy clustering of complex system,8 groups and 4 new prescriptions had been developed.The first five symptoms of the highest frequency of occurrence included not specific,careless,easy to distraction,absent-minded and small movements.The middle and high frequency syndrome type of prescription were heart and spleen deficiency(33);spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity(29);kidney deficiency and liver hyperactivity(20);phlegm and fire(9).ConclusionWarm and flat,sweet and bitter are the most amount in the nature and flavor of Professor Li Yirui’s medication,which are chosen carefully to be suitable for children’s constitution.The efficacy of medicine mainly lies in tranquilizing the heart and mind,as well as protecting the spleen and stomach,and address both the aymptoms and cause.In children with ADHD in Lingnan,deficiency of heart and spleen,deficiency of spleen and liver,hyperactivity of liver due to deficiency of kidney are more common,but the syndromes can also be mixed.Apriori algorithm has important practical value in exploring the prescription strategy for ADHD.Professor Li Yirui used the principle of both manifestation and root in the treatment of ADHD,which accorded with the physiological and pathological characteristics of children.
