Objective: To study the immediate and after tooth brush wear effects of810 nm diode laser and Flairesse prophylaxis varnish occluding dentin tubules,and to provide clinical treatment plans and ideas for dentin hypersensitivity treatment.Methods:52 premolars freshly extracted within 3 months were collected and prepared into dentine discs with a thickness of about 2mm.After 20 seconds of 35% phosphoric acid etching,a dentine sensitivity model was prepared.Four premolars were randomly selected from the dentine discs as group E(blank control group).The remaining 48 dentin discs were randomly divided into 4 groups with 12 discs in each group.The crown surface of each dentin disc is the experimental observation surface.According to the different surface treatment methods of the dentin sensitive model,it can be divided into:group A(Flairesse prophylaxis varnish group)according to the different surface treatment methods of the model;Group B(diode laser group);Group C(Flairesse prophylaxis varnish+diode laser group);Group D(diode laser+Flairesse prophylaxis varnish group).Samples of dentin discs in groups A-E were treated as follows.Group A: Flairesse prophylaxis varnish was applied for 1min.Group B: at a distance of 5mm from the dentin disc,810 nm wavelength diode laser was irradiated by non-contact circle movement for 30 s,and the parameter setting was 1.0W,Pulse mode.Group C: first apply Flairesse prophylaxis varnish for 1min,then irradiate with 810 nm diode laser for 30s;group D: first irradiate with 810 nm diode laser for 30 s,then apply Flairesse prophylaxis varnish for 1min.Group E: no treatment.The dentin discs in the A-D groups were randomly divided into 3experimental groups,each group had 4 dentin discs,which were immediate observation group(A1,B1,C1,D1),one week brushing group(A2,B2,C2,D2)and three months brushing group(A3,B3,C3,D3).Immediate observation group don’t do other processing,one week brushing group and three months brushing group begin brush wear test,The specimens were fixed on silicone rubber to expose the crown surface,and the operators were the same person Each specimen was brushed for 35 seconds in the 1-week brushing group and 450 s seconds in the 3-month brushing group(the brushing time was calculated according to 3 minutes per person twice a day,and one tooth surface was brushed for about 5 seconds every day).The cross-sectional observation of dentin tubules was carried out under Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)to obtain SEM images.Five cross-sectional screenshots were randomly taken from each dentin disk,and20 images obtained from each group were input into image processing software Image-pro plus6.0 for image processing,and the open dentin tubule area was measured to calculate the open area ratio of dentin tubules.calculate the open area ratio of dentin tubules,and then make statistical analysis.Results:Scanning electron microscopy showed that the open area ratio(%)of dentin tubule in group E(blank control group)was 22.30±0.89,and the difference between the experimental groups and blank control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).In immediate group,the open area ratio of dentin tubule in A1 group,B1 group,C1 group and D1 group was 4.23±0.57,3.03 ± 0.52,2.08 ± 0.23 and 0.99 ± 0.26,respectively,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Brushing wear group for 1 week: The open area ratio of dentin tubule in A2,B2,C2 and D2 groups was 4.66±0.47,3.99±0.48,2.95±0.12 and 2.64±0.35,respectively.There was no significant difference between C2 group and D2 group(P >0.05),and there was significant difference between the other groups in pairings(P <0.05).Brushing wear 3months group: The open area ratio of dentin tubule in A3,B3,C3 and D3groups was 7.72 ± 0.46,5.96 ± 0.38,3.90 ± 0.52 and 3.80 ± 0.71,respectively.There was no significant difference between the C3 group and the D3 group(P >0.05),and there was significant difference between the other groups in pairings(P <0.05).Conclusions:1.Diode laser and Flairesse prophylaxis varnish can occlude dentin tubules to different degrees whether used alone or in combination,and when used in combination,the immediate sealing effect is better,and the anti-wear effect is also better.2.When diode laser and Flairesse prophylaxis varnish are used together,the effect of occluding dentin tubules immediately is better.However,after short-term and medium-term wear,the use sequence has no effect on occluding dentin tubules.
