Facial expression is an external feature of emotions, and correct recognition of it is the basis for maintaining social interaction. However, the core symptom of autism with mental development disorder is social communication disorder. Therefore, facial expression recognition is an important basis for social interaction. It has become a hot spot for scholars to study the autism group. In recent years, many scholars have carried out research on it.The results of the research are different, and some are even contradictory.Face familiarity is a special variable in facial expression recognition. There are few studies, and the results are inconsistent. Most of the studies are only simple recognition and comparison.Few studies add face familiarity to the emotional priming paradigm. In order to study the influence of face familiarity on emotion recognition in the single-channel and cross-channel activation paradigm of autistic people, compare whether there is a difference between the recognition of unfamiliar facial expressions and familiar facial expressions in the emotion activation paradigm of autistic people. This difference is compared with Whether the normal population is the same or not, this research was specially carried out. This study Select 14 autistic people who meet the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5,and 14 normal people matching their age(14.36±5.06)and intelligence(41.36±9.44),and conduct the following three experiments, all of which belong to 2(consistent emotions, inconsistent emotions)* 2(unfamiliar faces, familiar faces)* 2(experimental group, control group)three-factor mixed experimental design.Experiment 1: Single-channel facial expression test. Both the starting stimulus and the target stimulus are facial expression pictures. There are 96 trials in total,of which48 trials are for familiar faces and unfamiliar faces, and 48 trials are for consistent and inconsistent emotions.Second, the correct rate and response time are used as judgment indicators, and the differences are compared through three-factor repeated measurement analysis of variance.Experiment 2: Cross-channel facial expression test, the starting stimulus is music chord stimulus, and the target stimulus is facial expression pictures. There are 96 trials in total,of which 48 trials are for familiar faces and unfamiliar faces, with consistent and inconsistent emotions. Each accounted for 48 trials, and the data processing was the same as experiment 1.Experiment 3: Cross-channel music emotion test. The starting stimulus is facial expression stimulus, and the target stimulus is musical chords. There are 96 trials in total,of which 48 trials are for familiar faces and unfamiliar faces. The emotions are consistent and inconsistent. It accounts for 48 trials, and the data processing is the same as experiment 1.The results show:(1)Single channel facial expression recognition: As far as the accuracy rate is concerned, the interaction effect is not significant, the main effect of face familiarity(p<0.01),the main effect of emotional consistency(p<0.05)and the main effect of the group(p<0.01)are significant. In terms of reaction time, the face familiarity*emotional consistency* group(p<0.05)has a significant three-factor interaction effect. Therefore,a two-factor simple effect analysis was carried out,and it was found that in the control group Face familiarity*emotional consistency(p<0.05)has a significant difference. In the experimental group, face familiarity*emotional consistency(p>0.05)does not have a significant difference,so a simple effect analysis found that in the control group, strange face recognition, the response time under consistent conditions(699.64±46.27)was significantly higher than the response time under inconsistent conditions(680.05±42.56).The main effect of face familiarity(p<0.01)and the main effect of group(p<0.05)were both significant.(2)Cross-channel facial expression recognition: As far as the accuracy rate is concerned, the interaction effect is not significant, the main effect of face familiarity(p<0.05),the main effect of group(p<0.01)are significant. In terms of reaction time, the interaction effects were not significant, the main effect of face familiarity(p<0.01),the main effect of emotional consistency(p <0.01)and the main effect of the group(p<0.01)are significant.(3)Cross-channel music emotion recognition: In terms of accuracy, face familiarity*emotional consistency(p<0.05)and emotional consistency*group(p<0.01)The interaction effect of is significant. Therefore,a simple effect analysis is carried out.Under the familiar face stimulus, the correct rate under the consistent emotion condition(0.85±0.03)is significantly higher than the inconsistent emotion(0.67±0.06);in the experimental group, the correct rate under the consistent emotion condition(0.76±0.04)was significantly higher than the inconsistent mood(0.48±0.08).The main effect of face familiarity(p<0.01),the main effect of emotional consistency(p<0.01)and the main effect of group(p<0.01)are all significant. As far as the reaction time is concerned, neither the interaction effect nor the main effect is significant.research conclusion:(1)In the single-channel facial expression recognition, the accuracy and reaction time of autistic people are lower than normal people, but they are better than the recognition of unfamiliar faces in the recognition of familiar faces, and there are more conditions for inconsistent emotions. It helps people with autism to perform singlechannel facial expression recognition.(2)In cross-channel facial expression recognition, the accuracy and reaction time of autistic people are lower than normal people, but they are better than the recognition of unfamiliar faces in the recognition of familiar faces.Familiar faces are helpful for autism The person performs cross-channel processing.(3)In cross-channel music emotion recognition, the recognition rate and response time of autistic people are lower than normal people, but the priming stimulus of familiar faces is more helpful for autistic people to perform cross-channel music emotion recognition.People with autism are more likely to have a priming effect than normal people.
