Chinese monosyllabic words are an important factor in the formation of Putonghua sentences, which are composed of initials and finals.Different monosyllabic words often have different fundamental frequency range, and can express different semantics with different tones. Therefore,it is of great significance to accurately understand monosyllabic words in people’s daily communication and social life.At present, there are many research results on the response patterns of four Chinese tones in the inferior colliculus neurons of experimental animals, but there are few studies on the response patterns caused by different syllables in the inferior colliculus neurons of experimental animals, and there are few studies on the effects of tones and syllables on the synchronization degree of neurons’ response to the time-frequency characteristics of speech stimulation,Therefore, this paper will explore and discuss these problems. In order to understand the response patterns of different Chinese monosyllabic words in animal inferior colliculus neurons, the fundamental frequency trajectories contained in the stimulation of Chinese monosyllabic words were extracted and smoothed. Then, guinea pigs were used as the animal model, and the action potential data of guinea pig inferior colliculus neurons were collected by extracellular recording electrodes in the signal shielding room. After statistical analysis and visual processing of the data, the time histogram and peak potential interval diagram after stimulation were drawn, and the time-frequency characteristics of neuron response and speech stimulation were compared and analyzed to explore the differences of inferior colliculus neurons after different monosyllabic word stimulation.According to the results, the final conclusion was drawn. The results show that 82%(23 / 28)of raster graph follow degree results,76%(128/ 168)of PSTH fundamental frequency and speech fundamental frequency correlation coefficient results and 40%(67 / 168)of vector intensity results are more than 50%,that is,the degree of neural response characterizing speech time-frequency characteristics is generally higher than 50%.On the other hand, the degree of neural lock-in of the four tones only shows very few significant differences in the results of residuals and correlation coefficients, while the degree of neural representation of seven syllables generally shows significant differences in all four indicators, among which the difference between / Wu / and the remaining syllables is the most obvious. Finally, there was no significant difference in the degree of neural representation between tone and syllable. In conclusion,by recording the action potential data of guinea pig inferior colliculus neurons evoked by Chinese monosyllabic word stimulation, this paper further explored the main effects of tones and syllables in different Chinese and their interaction effects on the response mode of guinea pig inferior colliculus neurons and their influence on the synchronization degree from neuron response synchronization to voice stimulation,It provides experimental guidance and theoretical basis for the objective evaluation of the response of Chinese monosyllabic words in the inferior colliculus by using electrophysiological signals.
