Chloranthus multistachys Pei belongs to the family of Chloranthaceae,also known as Sikuaiwa.The plant is widely distributed in southern China and is one of the common Chinese herbal medicines in my country.The plant is often used as medicine with the whole herb,its nature and flavor are pungent,bitter,and has minor toxicity,and has the effects of dispelling wind,activating blood,reducing swelling and detoxification.Folks are often used to treat rheumatic pain,bruises,snake bites and other symptoms.In the early stage,our research group conducted preliminary research on the chemical constituents of the C.multistachys,and isolated some sesquiterpenes,diterpenes and other types of compounds.On the basis of the previous research,we conducted further research on the chemical components of the whole plant of C.multistachys.Through silica gel,preparative liquid chromatography,modern chromatography,crystal X-ray diffraction and other methods,separated and identified 63 compounds.Respectively identified as:multistalactam A(1*),(+)/(-)-chlorantene N(2*),chlorantene L(3*),(+)/(-)-chloraeudolide J(4*),(+)/(-)-chloraeudolide H(5*),(+)/(-)-chlorantene M(6*),(+)/(-)-chlorantene M1(7*),multistalactone H(8*),multistalactone K(9*),(1R,6R,7S,9S,10S)-(-)-9β-hyd-roxycyclocolorenon(10*),chloramultiol H1(11*),chloramultiol H2(12*),spicachlorantin A(13),fortunilide K(14),hlorasessilifol B(15),sarcandrolide J(16),tianmushanol(17),cycloshizukaol A(18),shizukaol C(19),shizukaol B(20),chloramultiol A(21),shizukaol D(22),chloramultiol C(23),chloramultiol D(24),sarglabolide I(25),sarcandrolide B(26),4β,8β-dihydroxy-5α(H)-eudesm-7(11)-en-8,12-olide(27),curvularin(28),9α-hydroxycurcolonol(29),1α,9α-dihydroxy-8,12-expoxy-eudesma-4,7,11-trien-6-one(30),dihydrocurcolone(31),1α,8α,9α-trihydrox-yeudesman-3(4),7(11)-dien-8β,12-olide(32),neolitacumone A(33),atractylenolid III(34),hydroxyisogermafurenolide(35),shizukanolideF(36),l-hydroxyaromadendr-4-en-3-one(37),myrrhterpenoid N(38),4α-hydroxy-5α,8β(H)-eudesm-7(11)-en-8,12-olide(39),chloraniolide A(40),4α-hydroxy-8,12-epoxyeudes-ma-7,11-diene-1,6-dione(41),curcolonol(42),zederone epoxide(43),chlomultin C(44),chlorantenes D(45),4α,8β-dihydroxy-5α(H)-eudesm-7(11)-en-8,12-olide(46),13-epitorulosol(47),15-nor-14-oxolabda-8(17),12E-dien-19-oic acid(48),henrilabdanes A(49),12-(3-methyl-furan)-labd-8(17)-en-19-oic acid(50),ent-8(9)-pimarene-20-hydroxy-16-nor-15-oic acid(51),henrilabdane B(52),(7S,8R)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol(53),N-trans-feruloyltyramine(54),grossamide(55),7-ketositosterol(56),6β-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one(57),6α-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one(58).Among them,17 are new compounds(1-12),mainly 5 pairs of new sesquiterpene enantiomers(+)/(-)-(2*,4*-7*),4 new sesquiterpene(1*,3*,8*,9*),1 new natural product sesquiterpene(10*),2 new sesquiterpene dimers(11*,12*);Among them,45 are know compounds(13-58),there are 14 sesquiterpene dimers(13-26),20 sesquiterpenes(27-46),6 diterpenes(47-52),and 6 other compounds(53-58),which of compounds 13-17,27-41,47-51,53-58were isolated from this plant for the first time.In order to further clarify the effective active ingredients of its anti-inflammatory activity and provide a scientific basis for its clinical rational use of drugs,we used lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced RAW264.7cell inflammation screening model to test the anti-inflammatory effects of some known compounds and new compounds active.The results of the anti-inflammatory activity of some compounds showed that compounds 10,12,14,18,27,and 43showed moderate anti-inflammatory activity,and compound 11 showed good anti-inflammatory activity(IC503.34±0.73).
