Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture method of connecting qi and dredging meridians on yangming meridians on limb motor dysfunction after ischemic stroke.MethodsThe 60 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with basic drug therapy, rehabilitation training and acupuncture. The control group was treated with the method of mild reinforcing and attenuating at the Yangming meridian around joints. And the observation group was treated with the method of connecting Qi and dredging meridians. The two groups were treated 6 times a week for 4 weeks. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by simplified Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)score and activities of daily living(ADL)score.ResultsAfter 4 weeks of treatment, the FMA score and ADL score of the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The FMA score and ADL score in the observation group were significantly increased, and the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions(1)Both groups of treatments could improve the score FMA and ADL score of patients with motor dysfunction after ischemic stroke.(2)The treatment effect of limb motor dysfunction after ischemic stroke by acupuncture method of connecting qi and dredging meridians on yangming meridians is better than normal acupuncture.
