Objective:To explore the risk factors of Basal cell carcinoma(BCC)by systematic review, and to provide the evidence of evidence-based medicine for better prevention of BCC.Methods:Computer searches for the Chinese and English literatures on the risk factors of basal cell carcinoma publicly published in various databases(CNKI、CBM、wanfang、VIP、Pub Med 、 EMBASE 、 SCIE and The Cochrane Library)until September 2020.Two independent researchers summarized all the retrieved literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and carried out data extraction and quality evaluation of eligible ones. The final data was analyzed using Rev Man5.3 software. Results:A total of 35 articles, screening 10 related factors were included in the final a nalysis. The results of meta-analysis showed that the risk factors of BCC included Family history of skin cancer[Case-control study: OR=2.43,95%CI(2.00,2.95),P<0.001;Cohort study: OR=1.32,95%CI(1.27,1.37),P<0.001],History of skin cancer[OR=7.30,95%CI(4.26,12.53),P<0.001],Fair skin[OR=1.97,95% CI(1.79,2.17),P<0.001],Frequent severe sunburns[OR=1.51,95%CI(1.16,1.97),P=0.002],High susceptibility to sunburn[OR=1.33,95%CI(1.22,1.46),P<0.001],Ultraviolet exposure[OR=1.55,95%CI(1.38,1.74),P<0.00 001],Sunbathing or indoor tanning[OR=1.32,95%CI(1.21,1.43),P<0.001],Li ght hair color[OR=1.35,95%CI(1.22,1.49),P<0.001],Transplant history[OR=2.95,95%CI(2.4 2,3.61),P<0.001] and Ionizing radiation[OR=2.37,95%CI(1.86,3.02),P<0.001].Conclusion:Current evidence shows that Family history of skin cancer,History of skin cancer,Fair skin,Frequent severe sunburns,High susceptibility to sunburn,Ultraviolet exposure,Sunbathing or indoor tanning,Light hair color,Transplant history and Ionizing radiation are the risk factors of BCC.
