Objective:This article analyzes the relationship between prealbumin-to-fibrinogen ratio(PFR),albumin-to-fibrinogen ratio(AFR)with general clinical data of colorectal cancer patients, and the correlation between PFR,AFR with CEA,CA19-9,and the predictive value of chemotherapy efficacy,to explore the clinical significance of PFR and AFR expression levels in colorectal cancer. Methods:There selected 288 colorectal cancer patients with complete clinical data who attended the Oncology Department of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2016 to the end of September 2020.These patients all completed 3 cycles of chemotherapy, and completed the relevant baseline examinations before chemotherapy, and completed the relevant examinations after completing the 3 cycles of chemotherapy and evaluated the efficacy of chemotherapy.Patient-related clinical data, including patient’s age, gender, test results before chemotherapy(fibrinogen,albumin,prealbumin,CEA,CA19-9 values),imaging test results after chemotherapy was collect.According to the examination results and RECIST 1.1,the patient’s chemotherapy efficacy after 3cycles of chemotherapy was evaluated. To analyze the relationship between PFR,AFR with general clinical data of colorectal cancer patients, the correlation between PFR,AFR with CEA,CA19-9,and the predictive value of chemotherapy efficacy.Results:1.The different inflammatory states, coagulation states, nutritional states and immune states of tumor patients lead to the different expression levels of PFR and AFR.Therefore, the levels of PFR and AFR are related to the patient’s age, metastasis, tumor stage,CEA level,CA199 level and whether the progress after chemotherapy(P<0.05).2.The levels of PFR and AFR were negatively correlated with CEA and CA19-9(P<0.05).If the level of PFR and AFR is lower, the level of CEA and CA19-9 is higher, which may be related to the patient’s age(≥ 60 years),distant metastasis, and tumor stage.3.The levels of PFR and AFR before chemotherapy have a certain predictive value for the chemotherapy efficacy of patients(P < 0.001).According to the receiver operating curve, the best cut-off value of the predictive value of PFR for chemotherapy efficacy before chemotherapy is 60.385,and its sensitivity is 0.641,the specificity is0.780,the area under curve(AUC)is 0.744,and the 95% confidence interval(95% CI)is0.682-0.806.The best cut-off of the predictive value of AFR for chemotherapy efficacy before chemotherapy is 11.605,the sensitivity is 0.621,the specificity is 0.780,the AUC is 0.721,and the 95% CI is 0.656-0.785.Patients with PFR ≥ 60.385 before chemotherapy had better chemotherapy efficacy than those with PFR<60.385;patients with AFR≥11.605 before chemotherapy had better chemotherapy efficacy than patients with PFR<11.605,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:The levels of PFR and AFR are correlated with the patient’s age, metastasis, tumor stage,CEA level,CA19-9 level, and progression after chemotherapy, and PFR and AFR levels are negatively correlated with CEA and CA19-9,and PFR and AFR before chemotherapy has certain predictive value for patients with chemotherapy efficacy.
