Objective:Optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)was used to analyze the changes of superficial retinal vascular density and perfusion density in patients with active TAO compared with those in patients with inactive TAO under different grouping criteria, and to explore the diagnostic value of OCTA for TAO.Methods:A total of 38 TAO patients(38 right eyes)were included in this study. The CAS and 99mTc-DTPA SPECT/CT were used as the basis for TAO activity grouping.OCTA was used to quantitatively measure the superficial retinal vascular density and perfusion density of all patients.Statistical analysis was performed on the two groups of data, and ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the diagnostic value of the above parameters for TAO.Results:Compared the consistency between the CAS and 99m Tc-DTPA SPECT/CT,it was found that the two methods had a moderate consistency(P<0.001).Using OCTA to compare the superficial retinal vessel density and perfusion density of the two groups of patients,it was found that the active TAO group had lower vessel density and perfusion density than the inactive TAO group(all P<0.05).ROC curve was used to compare the diagnostic power of all these parameters,it was found that all these parameters had good diagnostic ability for TAO.Conclusion:99mTc-DTPA SPECT/CT is a reliable method for assessing TAO activity. In addition to anterior segment symptoms, patients with active TAO also have a significant decrease in retinal vascular density and perfusion density.OCTA is valuable in the diagnosis of active TAO.
