Objective:To investigate the relationship between 11β-steroid dehydrogenase 2activity(11β-HSD2)and renin(PRC)in patients with essential hypertension(EH),and to further explore the mechanism of essential hypertension.Methods:A total of 113 EH patients who visited and were admitted to the Hypertension Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University from October 2018 to July 2019 were randomly selected as the study object and set to the EH group.Another 121 randomly selected outpatient health checkups during the same period were In the control group,the magnetic particle chemiluminescence method(ELisa method)and high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection method(HPLC-UV method)were used to detect PRC,hydrocortisone(F),and cortisone in urine,respectively.(E)concentration(F / E value indicates11β-HSD2 activity).According to renin levels,patients in the EH group were divided into three types: 36 cases of low renin type,42 cases of intermediate renin type,and 35 cases of high renin type.To explore the changes of 11β-HSD2 activity in patients with different renin type EH,and to analyze EH Differences in blood pressure levels and age in groups with renin and 11β-HSD2 activity levels.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age,gender,fasting blood glucose and body mass index(BMI)between the EH group and the control group(P> 0.05);2.The renin levels in the EH group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0.05),and There was no significant difference in F / E value between the two groups,that is,there was no significant difference in 11β-HSD2 activity(P> 0.05)(F / E value indicates 11β-HSD2 activity,the larger the F / E value,the smaller the 11β-HSD2 activity);3.There was no significant difference in renin levels and F / E values(11β-HSD activity)between patients with EH at different blood pressure levels(P> 0.05);4.With increasing age,plasma renin levels decreased significantly,The F / E value increased significantly,that is,the 11β-HSD activity decreased significantly,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);5.The composition of each subtype of EH patients is as follows: low renin type EH 31.9%,intermediate renin type EH 37.1%,high renin-type EH 31.0%;low renin-type EH and high renin-type EH significantly increased F / E value,that is,11β-HSD2 activity was significantly reduced,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05));6.EH patients F / E value and renin are negatively correlated,that is,EH patients 11β-HSD2 activity is positively related to renin.Conclusions:1.The activity of 11β-HSD2 and renin level in primary hypertension are greatly affected by age.2.11β-HSD2 activity of essential hypertension affects renin levels,both of which are involved in the development of hypertension.
