Objective:The objection of this study is to explore the expression and correlation of VDR and renin mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in Uygur and Han patients with essential hypertension. Methods:90patients with essential hypertension including44cases of Uygur patients with essential hypertension,46cases of Han patients with essential hypertension.108cases of normal physical examination selected as normal controls in our hospital medical examination center, including53cases of Uygur normal population and55cases of Han normal population. Serum25(OH)D, renin and angiotensin Ⅱ of concentration were detected. With β-action as an endogenous control, While using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method detect peripheral blood mononuclear cells of VDR and renin mRNA expression and content.Results:VDR expression in the case group was lower than the control group (β<0.01), the expression level of VDR in Uygur case group was lower than the control group (P <0.05); Han patient group of VDR expression levels was lower than the control group in Han (P<0.05), the expression levels of VDR in Uygur case group was significantly lower than the Han case group(P<0.05). Renin expression in the case group was higher than the control group (P<0.01), the expression of Uygur case group was higher than the control group of Uygur (P<0.05), the expression of renin in Han case group was higher than the control group of Han (P<0.01), the expression levels of renin in Uygur case group was significantly higher than the Han case group (P<0.05). VDR expression analysis of linear correlation with other factors, the expression of VDR and25(OH)D were positively correlated, and BMI, blood renin, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure renin mRNA were negatively correlated with VDR mRNA. Logistic regression analysis showed:the Uygur and Han population,25(OH) D is a protective factor for hypertension, OR values were0.841and0.819(P<0.05), and renin and angiotensin II is the risk factor (P<0.05). Conclusions:The Uygur and Han nationality essential hypertension patients with VDR expression were decreased, expression of renin were increased, Which Uygur essential hypertension patients with VDR expression decreased more significantly. VDR may be partly involved the renin-angiotensin system to reduce blood pressure.
