Objective: Immunohistochemical method was used to observe the expression of IMP3,CD44v6 and VEGF-C in normal ovarian tissues and all kinds of epithelial ovarian tumors(Epithelial Ovarian Tumor,EOT),to analyze the relationship between IMP3,CD44 v C,VEGF-C and different Clinicopathological features,to clarify the correlation of three proteins in Epithelial Ovarian Cancer(Epithelial Ovarian Cancer,EOC),and to explore the relationship between IMP3,CD44v6,VEGF-C and the development,diagnosis and treatment of epithelial ovarian tumors.Methods: A total of 128 cases of ovarian tumor tissue wax blocks were collected from June 2015 to June 2020,and 20 cases of normal were collected.All the selected cases were fully fixed,sampled,sectioned and HE stained.The cases were divided into different types of ovarian epithelial tumors by strict re-examination by senior doctors.They were divided into normal ovarian tissue(control group,n = 20),benign ovarian epithelial tumor(benign group,n = 40),borderline ovarian epithelial tumor(borderline group,n = 40)and malignant ovarian epithelial tumor(malignant group,n = 48).The expression of IMP3,CD44v6 and VEGF-C protein was detected in each group,and the data were analyzed by statistical method.Results: The data were processed by IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0.the positive sites of IMP3 were located in the cytoplasm,the brown granules in the cytoplasm were positive,the positive sites of CD44v6 were located in the cell membrane,the brown granules in the membrane were positive,the positive sites of VEGF-C were located in the cytoplasm,and the cytoplasmic brown granules were positive.The expressions of IMP3,CD44v6 and VEGF-C proteins in control group,benign group,borderline group and malignant group were significantly different(P < 0.001).In malignant group,the expression of IMP3 protein,CD44v6 protein and VEGF-C protein was closely related to FIGO stage and lymph node metastasis(P < 0.001).The expression of IMP3 protein,CD44v6 protein and VEGF-C protein increased in patients with III-IV stage and lymph node metastasis according to FIGO stage.In addition,in the malignant group,the expression of IMP3 protein was closely related to the detection of cancer cells in ascites,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).benign ovarian epithelial tumor(benign group,n = 40),borderline ovarian epithelial tumor(borderline group,n = 40)and malignant ovarian epithelial tumor(malignant group,n = 48).The expression of IMP3,CD44v6 and VEGF-C protein was detected。 In addition,in the malignant group,the expression of IMP3 protein was closely related to the detection of cancer cells in ascites.The expression of CD44v6 protein was closely related to distant organ metastasis,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).In patients with distant organ metastasis,the expression of CD44v6 showed an upward trend.There was a positive relation between the protein level of IMP3 and CD44v6(Gamma value = 0.859,P < 0.001).There was a positive correlation between the protein expression of IMP3 and VEGF-C in malignant group(Gamma value = 0.951,P < 0.001).There was a positive correlation between the protein expression of CD44v6 and VEGF-C in malignant group(Gamma value = 0.894 P < 0.001).Conclusion: 1.The protein expression of IMP3,CD44V6 and VEGF-C is positively correlated with tumor malignancy in epithelial ovarian tumors,suggesting that all of them play a key role in the occurrence and development of ovarian nests.2.The expression level of IMP3 protein was positively correlated with the FIGO clinical stage,lymph node metastasis and the presence of cancer cells in ascites.3.CD44v6 of ovarian cancer was positively correlated with FIGO clinical stage,organ metastasis and lymph node metastasis.4.The expression level of VEGF-C protein in ovarian cancer was positively correlated with FIGO stage and lymph node metastasis.5.The proteins of IMP3,CD44v6 and VEGF-C are correlated with each other in malignant epithelial tumors of the ovary,and there is a significant synergistic effect among the three proteins.6.IMP3,CD44V6 and VEGF-C proteins provide some pathological theoretical basis for the clinical search for new therapeutic targets.
