Objective:To evaluate and summarize the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture and moxibustion in improving constipation, anxiety and depression in patients with postoperative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer, and to provide the basis for the clinical application of warm acupuncture and moxibustion in improving constipation and bad mood in patients with postoperative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer.Methods:Sixty-eight patients with constipation after postoperative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer who were admitted to the Oncology Department of Gansu Cancer Hospital or the Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to November 2020 and who met the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into two groups with 34 patients in each group. The treatment group(oral Mosapride citrate tablet + warm acupuncture therapy)and the control group(oral Mosapride citrate tablet)were treated for 1 week each as a course of treatment,a total of 4 courses.Four indexes(constipation symptoms,TCM syndromes, anxiety scale and depression scale)of the patients were scored before and after treatment, and the changes of each index were observed.Results:1.Main efficacy indicators:(1)Constipation symptom score and overall efficacy(1)Constipation symptom score: 1 week after treatment and 1 month after treatment,P <0.05.(2)Overall efficacy: 1 month after the end of treatment, the efficacy of the treatment group(93.75%)was better than that of the control group(75%),P < 0.05.The results showed that constipation symptoms were improved in both groups after 1week of treatment and 1 month after the end of treatment, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.(2)TCM syndrome score and overall efficacy(1)TCM syndrome score: 1 week of treatment,1 month after the end of treatment,P <0.05.(2)Overall efficacy: 1 month after the end of treatment, the efficacy of the treatment group(90.63%)was better than that of the control group(62.5%),P < 0.05.The results showed that after 1 week of treatment and 1 month after treatment, the TCM syndromes of both groups were improved, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.2.Secondary efficacy indicators:(1)Anxiety scale score and overall outcome(1)Anxiety scale score: 1 month after the end of treatment,P < 0.05.(2)Overall efficacy: 1 month after the end of treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).The results showed that anxiety symptoms in both groups were improved one month after the end of treatment, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.(2)Depression scale score and overall outcome(1)Depression scale score: 1 month after the end of treatment,P < 0.05.(2)Overall efficacy: 1 month after the end of treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).The results showed that depressive symptoms in both groups improved one month after the end of treatment, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.3.Safety evaluation:In the control group,1 case died and 1 case changed contact information. In the treatment group,1 patient suffered from needle sickness and 1 patient did not receive treatment on time, which were eliminated.Conclusion:1.Both the treatment group and the control group showed certain efficacy in improving constipation symptoms and TCM syndromes(liver stagnation and spleen deficiency)caused by postoperative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2.The treatment group could not only improve constipation symptoms and TCM syndromes caused by postoperative chemotherapy of colorectal cancer, but also improve the status of patients accompanied by anxiety and depression.
