Objective:To retrospectively analyze the correlation between serum levels of retinol binding protein 4(RBP4)and C-reactive protein(CRP)and metastasis of postmenopausal breast cancer. Methods:Collection of complete data from November 2016 to June 2020 of Oncology Department,Second Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College Clinical data of156 women with postmenopausal breast cancer.Collect all patients’ general medical records, including age, tumor pathological classification, tumor molecular classification, menarche age, menopausal age, smoking, drinking and other related conditions. After admission, the patients collected blood before receiving regular breast cancer chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine and surgical treatment. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect RBP4 and CRP concentrations.Based on physical examination, ultrasound,ct and other imaging and pathological diagnosis,Lymph node metastasis and / or distant metastasis are considered to occur.Of these 74 had no metastasis, average age(52.68 ± 1.21)years;82 cases have been transferred to the experimental group, average age(51.83 ± 1.30)years.Of the 82 patients with metastases,Bone metastases occurred in 33 cases,Lung metastasis in 18 cases,Liver metastases in 17 cases,Brain metastases in 7 cases,Of these,41 had only visceral metastases,18 patients showed ≥3 site metastases. Results:Logistic regression analysis showed that hormone receptor negative,HER-2negative,Ki67 ≥ 14%,high RBP4 and high CRP were risk factors for postmenopausal breast cancer metastasis(P < 0.05).The levels of RBP4 and CRP in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).The levels of RBP4 and CRP in patients with visceral metastasis were higher than those in patients with bone metastasis. The area under the ROC curve was analyzed,RBP4 combined with CRP detection can improve the specificityand sensitivity of diagnosis. Conclusion:Serum RBP4 and CRP are significantly correlated with metastasis of postmenopausal breast cancer.RBP4 and CRP are of high value for the diagnosis of breast cancer metastasis.
