Clinical Observation Of Shabailan Gankang Syrup In The Treatment Of Chronic Cough Syndrome Of Lung Yin Depletion

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Shabailan Gankang Syrup in the treatment of lung Yin depletion syndrome of chronic cough,to give play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic cough,and to provide theoretical basis for its clinical promotion.Methods The patients meeting the diagnostic criteria of lung Yin depletion syndrome of chronic cough were divided into control group(n=30)and treatment group(n=30)according to random number table.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine:Compound methoxamine capsule,2 pills each time,3 times a day,for 2 weeks;The treatment group was additionally given Shabailan Gankang Syrup,30 ml syrup each time,3 times a day,for 2 weeks.The TCM symptom score,primary symptom effective rate,pulmonary function improvement and clinical effective rate were observed before and after treatment between the two groups.Results1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in general data between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of effective rate of primary symptoms after treatment: the effective rate of primary symptoms in the treatment group(93.3%)was higher than that in the control group(73.3%),P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the improvement of primary symptoms in the treatment group was better than the control group.3.Comparison of total effective rate after treatment: the total effective rate of the treatment group(96.7%)was higher than that of the control group(86.7%),P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of lung function after treatment: FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC in the treatment group were significantly improved compared with the control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Compared with compound methoxamine capsule alone,the clinical efficacy of Shabailan Gankang Syrup combined with compound methoxamine capsule in the treatment of chronic cough syndrome of lung Yin depletion is more remarkable.It can give full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine and has the value of further popularization and application in clinical practice.
