Clinical Observation On Jianpi Hewei Recipe With Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Gastric Cancer In The Middle And Advanced Stages(Qin Yin Deficiency Type)

Objective: Observe the clinical efficacy of Jianpi Hewei Recipe combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer with both Qi and Yin deficiency,and provide a basis for further clinical promotion of Jianpi Hewei Recipe in the future.Methods: Fifty-six middle and advanced gastric cancer cases(qi-yin deficiency type)were randomly divided into two groups,namely the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was treated with Jianpi Hewei Recipe + XELOX chemotherapy(Oxaliplatin +Capecitabine),and the control group was given XELOX chemotherapy regimen only.After 2 cycles of treatment,the changes of tumor size,TCM symptom score,quality of life score,tumor markers,blood routine,liver and kidney function of patients were recorded before and after treatment for data analysis.Results:1.Comparison of objective curative effect on solid tumors,the total response rate of the treatment group was 46.4%,the control rate was 75.0%,the total response rate of the control group was 35.7%,and the control rate was 57.1%,but there was no statistical difference between the two groups Significance(P>0.05).2.In terms of improvement of KPS score,the effective rate of the treatment group(82.1%)had a remarkable advantage over the effective rate of the control group(57.1%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In terms of TCM symptom scores,the scores of the two groups were significantly reduced after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of the treatment group was more significantly reduced than the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The comparison of quality of life showed that th e quality of life in the treatment group was significantly improved after treatment,and the difference in scores was significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);the difference in scores before and after treatment in the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05);After treatment,the improvement of quality of life in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).5.In terms of tumor markers,CEA,CA199,and CA125 in the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);however,CEA,CA199,and CA125 were compared between the two groups after treatment,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).6.Comparison of toxic and side effects: after treatment,the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions and bone marrow suppression in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.There wa s no statistically significant difference in liver and kidney function,peripheral neuritis and skin damage(P>0.05).Conclusions: Under the guidance of TCM thought,the treatment of patients with middle and advanced gastric cancer with qi-yin deficiency type with Jianpi Hewei Recipe can significantly relieve clinical symptoms,improve quality of life,and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.However,compared with chemotherapy alone,Jianpi Hewei Recipe combined chemotherapy showed no obvious advantages in terms of objective efficacy of solid tumors and serum tumor markers.
