Objective: Primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)in children is a common pediatric disease with clinical symptoms of thrombocytopenia and skin hemorrhage. After active treatment, about 80% of children with ITP can be basically cured, some of them have prolonged and repeated illness, and 10% to 20% of them may develop chronic ITP.In this paper, factors affecting the prognosis of children with ITP were studied to provide a basis for improving the prognosis of the disease. Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 312 pediatric patients hospitalized in our hospital from January 2015 to August 2018 with complete data and follow-up records. The collection included age, gender, area of residence, family allergy history, disease course,pre-treatment leukocyte and pre-treatment Ig E,pre-treatment platelets, positive virus antibody, use of gamma globulin, glucocorticoid, platelet input, platelet initiation time, and platelet recovery time.According to the prognosis, the patients were divided into the cure group and the chronic group. Results: In this study,236(75.64%)of 312 cases of ITP were cured and 76(24.36%)became chronic. Two groups of children with the onset of age, place of residence, family history of allergies, disease progression, treatment, white blood cell count and treatment before the Ig E,virus antibody positive, gamma globulin, glucocorticoid, input platelets, platelet start up time, time factors such as platelet recovery to normal was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and at the same time line for meaningful factors unconditioned Logistic regression analysis, the effect of prognosis of children with ITP,risk factors, including the onset age(OR = 2.243),disease progression(OR =1.809),platelet recovery to normal time(OR = 1.597),The protective factors were gamma globulin(OR =0.298)and glucocorticoid(OR =0.618).Conclusions: In this study,312 retrospective ITP cases were collected, and it was found that the age of onset, disease course,glucocorticoid,beta-globular protein and platelet recovery time in children had different effects on the prognosis and outcome, which could be used as a prediction of acute and chronic outcomes.Age of onset, long course of disease before comprehensive treatment, and long time for platelet recovery are risk factors for ITP to become chronic. As early symptoms are easy to be ignored in older children,it is necessary for parents to carefully observe and pay attention to the condition of children,so as to make early detection and early treatment.Once diagnosed, comprehensive treatment should be taken actively, and early application of glucocorticoids and gamma globulin is the key to improve the prognosis of children.
